(Sorry about the long wait.)
Charlie, finally able to stand, scrambled over to Adrianna. "Hey, hey, calm down. Here." He leaned down, and scooped up some water from the lake, dumping it on her face, brushing the sand off of her eyes. "Better?" However, his attention was on the girls on the rock. There were two, now, and they were still staring at the three of them, but no longer smiling. "Randlee," He muttered, addressing his other friend. "What- ..Is that Efi?" He had glanced out at the water, and saw a girl floating. Without thinking, he moved to get in the water, quickly dragging her on shore, rolling her to where she could get the water out of her lungs.
Rai rolled his shoulders, stressed at the idiot elf's input. "There's no point in that. The demons numbers far surpass ours. If we put our weakest in the front, with the strongest in the center, they'll have to travel all the way here, and they'll be weakened by the time they arrive. That's our only hope." -
It took a moment, but suddenly her eyes shot open and she gagged, coughing up enough lake water to make another lake.
"Nnng...Ow ow ow ow ow!" Efi whined, putting a hand to her head.
She closed her eyes again, then opened them, blinking, and sighed in relief seeing the others. Then a thought hit her.
"Are we dead?!" She asked, then realized how dumb that sounded. Goddammit.
-
"But so many people will die..." Life commented finally, green eyes wide. He understood that it was a good plan, but he just couldn't accept the death of so many. It wasn't fair. -

Randlee groaned and sat up, the water finally out of his lungs. He brushed the hot sand off his arms and legs, glancing over at the others that had made it to shore as well. He crawled up over to Efi, rolling his eyes at the question. "If this is heaven, I want to go back home."

Little Red let out a loud huff, crossing her arms over her chest. "Who cares? All that matters is that we win, correct?" She glared at Life. "And you. Stop being such a wuss. You either go with it or you dont." -
Night1001 Newbie(I think I can stay for a few more hours so I'm temporarily taking back Nick. Oh, and thanks for accepting the temporary responsibility Dark.)

Adrianna held in her breath as she heard footsteps rushing towards her. She exhaled as she heard Charlie's voice. As long as he was there, she assumed the others were, too, and that she wasn't alone here. She gasped as the cool water touched her skin, and as soon as he brushed the sand off of her eyes, she opened them and blinked furiously.
"Thanks, Charlie," she said breathlessly as she pushed herself upwards. She watched him run off towards Elfi's floating figure, and heard her say something about heaven. Before she could say something, Randlee had already remarked about it, and Dria couldn't help but giggle. But she stopped when she realized they weren't alone. There were some girls on a rock. Confused, she stared at them, wondering who they were. "Hey, guys, are they campers? Oh, and where's Nick?"
Damien snorted, staring at the guy across from him. "As I've already stated, we're putting people's lives at risk. Don't you hear the short guy? Gee, great, the demons will be weakened. But all we're doing is putting people at risk. We have to mix the strong and weak together. Unless you're going to move hundreds of people out of the way of the war somewhere, your idea is guaranteed to bring death. Which is what the Queen asked to not have," He paused, looking at Little Red. "Yes, what matters is our win, but the Queen's wishes should be our commands, am I wrong?" -
(Asshat it's your turn)

Charlie turned to Randlee for an answer to that, but then, glancing behind him, saw Nick, not too far away. The boy was already sitting up in the sand, glancing around. "Nick!" He pulled away from Dria, heading toward his other friend. "Dude, I don't know where we are, but I have to say, it's good to see you. Or, rather, not good, because now you can't call anyone to search for us. I thought you weren't going to go swimming? Why did you? And why're you still fully dressed?" He said all of that in one long breath. He always did that when talking to him, since the first time he had encountered the other boy. Charlie absolutely adored Nick, but knew he was straight, and there was no chance of anything between them. Sadly. However, Charlie was still in the closet, and he was pretty sure there was no way anyone else was aware of his school-boy crush.
"..We have allied kingdoms we could send people too. And we could bring more into the castle walls, at least seven hundred." He rubbed his temples, frowning. "What does the queen think?"
The women in question sat silently for a moment, her eyes glued to the table. "..I think I want my people evacuated before many of them are harmed. And.. And I want to adjourn this meeting, because we're getting absolutely nowhere. Just bickering back and forth, and my head is starting to hurt. Does anyone second that notion?"
