The men who were sizing Landon up grabbed him, spinning him around so that one was in front of him, the other behind. The one behind him leaned forward, whispering a cold, "Oh, don't worry about him. You have bigger problems." The pirates callous-scared hands were moving down Landon's side, pulling at the pair of too-small pants.
-
Landon yelped when they grabbed him and tried to pull away. When they spun him around, he very quickly realized that he had no where left for him to run, no hole he could escape through. Landon bit his lip when the man behind him said that, afraid. When he felt hands moving down his sides and tugging at the pants he was wearing, he whinpered.
-
Just as the man was unbuckling his own belt, the door opened again, this time to Olan. He had began to ask one of the men for something, before he realized what was going on. Without a seconds thought, he brought out his sword, severing the neck of the man that was behind Landon. Then, he turned his attention towards the three that were harming his nephew, watching them and the other draw their swords, in defense.
-
(Landon: *le gasp* You're my hero!)
Landon was standing in silence when Olan came through the door. Landon quickly pulled his tight pants back up to where they were, jumping foward when Olan stabbed the man behind him in the neck. Landon accidentally fell foward, but landed on his knees. He turned and sat on the ground, watching what was happening. -
(Your hero's about to lose an eye)
It took him only a few seconds to dispatch two more of the men, but the third one, who held Avel's dagger, caught him across the eye with it, cutting deep enough to Olan to scream, loud and clear, and shout a cuss word, blindly cutting at the man, managing to relieve him of his hand. Samuel, having heard the noise, was rushing in, along with Charles. They took care of the remaining men, watching in vain as Olan sunk to the floor, hands covering his bleeding eye. -
(Sobs)
Landon couldn't look when Olan was cut in the eye. He covered his face with his arms, curling up into a tiny ball. Landon tried to ignore all the screams and shouts around him, but he just couldn't. Not liking being in situations like this, Landon screamed himself, sobbing. -
When Landon screamed, Samuel turned his attention away from Olan, moving over to him. "Hey. Hey, it's gonna be alright. Charles'll patch him up, and he'll be fine. Come on. You need a bath. Come on." He stood up, picking Landon up as he did so. When he passed Avel, he looked away, before saying, "You gave them that knife," Before brushing past him and up to the top deck. He took Landon to a small room, that contained a bath tub, soaps, towels, a stove for heating water, buckets, and a few barrels of water.
-
Landon didn't want to be picked up at the moment but didn't resist. Landon didn't even glance over to look at Avel, who had the knife in the first place. Instead Landon hid his face in Samuel's shirt, crying quietly.
-
Samuel didn't set him down until he had a bucket of water on the stove, heating. Letting him go, he mumbled a soft, "Undress," And then added a quick, "Don't worry. I'm not gay. I wont touch you." He turned his attention to the water, boiling three buckets, before adding a cold one to the mix. "Lavender or honey scented soap?"
-
Landon quickly pulled off his too tight jeans and boxers along with the button down that was too big for him. He watched as Samuel set up the bath, boiling buckets for water to put into it. Landon thought about the question for a moment before saying, "Lavender."
-
The pirate captain nodded, retrieving the soap for him, setting it on the edge of the tub. He placed two towels on the floor next to it, nodding. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go check on my brother." With that, he left, locking the door from the outside, to keep Landon from leaving while he was gone, and getting into anymore trouble.
-
When Samuel was gone, Landon wiped his wet face and slipped into the tub, careful not to let any water spill over. He wet his orangish blonde hair first. He picked up the lavender soap, lathering some onto his hands. He rubbed the soap into his dirty hair, attempting to get all the dirt and dust out of it.
-
Olan was patched up, though he was clearly in pain. "Don't," He mumbled as Samuel entered. "Don't baby me, alright? I'm fine." Charles, who was sitting across from him, shook his head. "He's gonna loose that eye. Get 'em to a doctor."
-
After washing all of the dust and dirt that had collecting in his hair over time out, Landon quickly washed off the rest of his body with the sweet smelling soap. After he was finished washing himself off, he got out of the tub, drying off with one of the towels that layed on the floor. After that, Landon decided just to out the clothing he was wearing before on , that he could go straight to Olan's cabin and grab new clothing. He left the small room and walked onto the deck, going towards Olan's cabin.
-
Olan and Samuel were full out arguing by the time Landon got in. Samuel wanted to change route and get him to the nearest doctor, Olan insisted he could wait until they hit the mainland. Samuel's main worry was infection, Olan's was the fact that he'd have to wear an eye patch..
