Yeah, that too. Also, the threat I got yesterday is turning kinda of wonky.
She sighed and shrugged. "Yeah, I guess you could say that.. Never had time for doing anything, and I kind of avoid people." She thought for a second and nodded. "Yeah.." -
Hm :I
Landon leaned foward so their foreheads were together once again, staring into her eyes. "I feel like you're not telling me something.." He said softly. -
Yeah. I know you probably don't believe me, but it is happening. :P
Ann stared at him for a minute before biting her lip and shrugging. "Yeah, I guess.." she glanced down to avoid his gaze. -
Of course I believe you. I just wish people wouldn't do things like that.
"Then why don't you tell me? It's not like I have anyone to pass it on to," Landon said quietly. He glanced up at the top of the stairs then quickly pulled away, standing. "Evening, father." -
Oh. Yeah, me too :/
Ann's eyes quickly widened when she realized that Charles was home. She bolted off the couch and almost fell over, because her feet were now asleep. "H-hi.." -
x3 Anyways.
"I thought you had a meeting, sir." Charles shook his head, walking down a stairs, a backpack in his hand. "Got canceled. Came downstairs to watch lovely Rose cook us dinner." Landon's eyes widened. Charles tossed the bookbag onto the couch and stood at the foot of the stairs. He merely glanced at the gun before turning to Landon. "Landon, show her where the supplies are." -
How are the pills working?
Ann stared at her backpack in utter happiness and reached out to touch it. "Thank you..." she responded, smiling up at Charles. She looked up at Landon confusedly. "Oh.. when is dinner? At my house, I usually started it at 4:00, got done around 5:30.." -
They are fabulous~
"Dinner is normally around seven. And it's three right now, so there is no need for you to start until later." Charles took out The Lion King and put some adult comedy movie in. Sitting down on the couch, Charles patted the seat next to him. "Come here, Rose." Landon stood in the kitchen, watching. -
Good! Sorry for the delay, I had to drive home and eat.
Ann glanced worriedly at Landon before slowly walking over and setting herself gingerly on the couch, not really sure what was going on. She glanced at Landon one last time before turning to Charles. "Uhm, yes..?" -
Landon turned on his heel and started getting out cooking supplies, even though they wouldn't make dinner for another two to three hours. He wanted to try and ignore his father who had waltzed in and got comfy.
Even though he man had put a movie in, he didn't bother to hit play. He wrapped a free arm around Rose, smiling at her. "How are you, Rose?" -
Ann felt bad, like somehow she had made Landon upset, and that feeling, coupled with Charles' sugary behavior, disturbed her.
She shifted nervously in her seat and looked up at Charles, nodding lightly. "I'm alright. Getting adjusted and the like.. Thank you for my backpack, and the books in my room.. They're helping the transition. I think." -
Bump~?
-
Landon walked out of the room and into his bedroom. Slamming the door, Landon curled up on the large bed.
Charles was about to say something when he heard the door slam. Charles got up and stormed towards Landon's room, swinging open the door. -
Ann got up and tried to stop Charles, but he was gone before she was able to stretch out her arm. She hesitated for a second, then got up and trotted after him. As he opened the door, she reached out and touched his arm, deciding at the last minute to fake innocence. "What's wrong?"
-
Charles ignored the touch and stormed towards Landon. He opened the drawer beside his bed and took out a small inhaler. He pressed it against Landon's mouth. His eyes were already closed. "Just his asthma."
