aw thank you thank you I'm really glad that means a lot to me X3 )
Lovino moved to step towards Maira's last unwashed leg, but just then he slipped again, his legs sliding out from under him on the slippery floor. Being part of circus had its perks, but it had never required much swimming, so Lovino had never learned how. He thrashed around, trying to hold his breath, but the current was pushing him deeper, making his lungs burn as he realized he wouldn't be able to hold his breath very long. -
(It means a lot to me too that you actually don't hate soaping with me cx i have weird stress sometimes that people just do it so that they don't hurt my feelings so I'm very very glad that we both enjoy each other's company)
Antonio blinked a little when he thought he heard a splash. And then, there was a bit of fluttering, like the water was being disturbed, and he wasn't sure if it was the current or not. "Lovino? Are you doing okay?" He asked, looking around to Maira's other side- to see Lovino was gone again. "L-Lovi?" He waded forward, but hardly saw any sign of him, besides a little splash upstream that may have just been a fish or something. Not knowing what else to do, he rushed forward, only to fall himself. But, luckily, he knew how to swim, and found it was easier to swim along than to try and run. He opened his eyes under the water, and rather far down the stream already, saw the struggling Lovino. He surfaced again, and started screaming towards the camp, as he rushed forward as fast as he could. "Help! We need help! f---, f---, somebody help!" He shouted, hoping at least one person would hear him. -
omfg I feel exactly the same I get so worried sometimes but I'm really glad we both enjoy it :3 )
Lovino was panicking, trying desperately to find some way to get to the surface, but he could barely tell which way was up. A strong current pushed him down, forcing the last bit of air from his lungs. He reflexively inhaled, only to choke on the water, his throat and lungs burning. His vision flickered, darkening until his struggles stopped and he went limp.
Meanwhile, Antonio's shouting had caught some attention, and soon enough, Bella was standing at the shore, two of the lion trainors behind her. "Antonio, what is it?" she called worriedly. -
Antonio was terribly nervous to tell two lion trainers what was happening, but Lovino needed help right away. "Lovino's fallen in," he explained, panting as he'd been rushing downstream, "Run down the shore and see if you can catch up, the current's carrying him down," he explained, worry laced in his voice as he said this all in a rush. Maira was actually following him, trying to see what he was up to.
-
The men, luckily, didn't suspect anything. Lovino checked on the acts often enough, and occasionally helped with chores, so it wasn't unusual for him to be with Antonio. Besides that, Lovino was their ringleader, someone they couldn't have drowning before a show. They ran along the bank, until one of them shouted something, pointing. The two of them waded in, one of them diving down and emerging a few tense seconds later with a limp Lovino in his arms. Bella gasped, paling at the sight of the unconscious Italian.
-
Antonio almost passed out when he saw his Italian pulled out limp from the water. He rushed forward, and managed to catch up with them, practically hyperventilating at the sight of Lovino hanging there rather lifeless. "What do we do? What do we do?" He asked, moving to take Lovino from the lion trainer.
-
The lion trainor held onto Lovino, gently laying him out on the ground. "He needs mouth to mouth, something to get the water from his lungs." One of the men said. "I can do that," the other offered, kneeling beside the Italian. Bella stood by anxiously, watching them intently.
-
Antonio climbed up onto the shore, kneeling on the other side of Lovino. He would have stopped the lion trainer, but he himself had no idea how to do mouth to mouth and if this guy didn't kiss Lovino then there would be no more Lovino to kiss. "Then do it!" Antonio urged him, his jaw set in repressed jealously.
-
The man nodded, leaning over him, his hands pressed over Lovino's bare chest. He locked his lips over Lovino's, forcing him to breath. After a few minutes, the trainor leaned back, brows furrowed. "It should've worked by now," he muttered, watching the Italian closely. There was a moment of dead silence, before Lovino coughed weakly. The trainor hurried to help him sit up, Lovino choking up the water, sputtering weakly.
-
Antonio was struggling to breathe properly, especially when the man said that it wasn't working like it was supposed to. But when Lovino showed sure signs of life, Antonio sighed heavily, leaning forward to push the wet hair out of the Italian's face.
-
Lovino coughed and gasped in air, his throat stinging painfully. He was shaking uncontrollably, chilled and frightened. "He needs to get warm," Bella noted, obviously concerned. The two lion trainers, seeing that the Italian was alive, stood up, one gently ruffling his hair as they departed to tell the others what had happened. Bella followed quickly, shouting about returning soon with blankets. Lovino let out a choked sob, trying to clear his vision and pounding headache. "Antonio," he whimpered, reaching out for him.

I'm back from vacation now btw so I should be on more ^^ )
-
oh except that I'm going to a party tomorrow at 4, it's sleepover, so I won't b on then, sorry!)
-
Antonio nodded to Bella, and then sat by Lovino, to keep him company. He was still a little shaken, having been worried before that he'd lose Lovino downstream, but he was glad the Italian was okay. "Mhm," he hummed to Lovi, reaching out to pull him closer. "I'm right here, you'll be fine."
(Oh cool~ And that's fine ^_^) -
Lovino latched onto him, shivering. "A-Antonio, I can't swim," he rasped, as if it wasn't obvious now. "I slipped." he mumbled, sniffing and clinging to him tightly.
