"Yeah...my dad is still reeling from it but...I'm stuck with him. I'm glad he's always away on business trips..." she smiled seeing the dog as she drove up to the manor, looking at the structure in awe.
-
The manor looked old, Victorian ages. Xavier had liked it from the first time he saw it. It was surprisingly well kept and gleaming. "Yeah my Uncles never home." He shrugged as she parked and he got out of the car. Charley barked and licked his hands. "Hey Charley." He chuckled as the big dog ran and brought him back a stick.
-
She got out of the car once she stopped it and stepped out carefully. She was really taken by the architecture of the manor. "It looks fantastic..." she mumbled lightly, hugging her backpack closer to her chest.
-
"I love this place." He as mutters after throwing the stick for the dog. "Come on in. I'll get us some dinner going." He walked up the steps and opened the door for her. Inside was a grand staircase and a open forer.
-
She nodded lightly and walked in through the front door in a bit of awe at the forer and looked up and the ceiling. She smiled a bit. "You don't have to make anything." She chuckled. "Um...what would you like to focus on for the trials...?"
-
"But I'm hungry." He said avoiding her question for the moment. Walking into a welcoming kitchen he started to search the kitchen and found stuff to make spagettie. "Sit." He said pointing at the bar before he got to work.
-
She followed him and sat down, watching him carefully. He seemed to be avoiding her question, but she could deal with that.
-
"What do you think about the trials?" He asked simply while cooking the meat in ine pan and the noodles in another. While that cooked he started to get herbs from the cabnits and adding it to the meat.
-
She thought for a moment and closer her eyes. "I think they were injustice and wrong to do. Those people were innocent and it was stupid of them to be persecuted." She opened her eyes and looked at him. "Why do you ask?"
-
He shrugged as he mixed the sauce an meat. "Because my family was trialed back in the day." He said simply. "Do you believe in witch craft?" He asked quietly while cooking.
-
She blinked lightly, tilting her head at him. "When I was a child, I did believe in something like witchcraft, more likely magic, but...I really don't know anymore...my mother was a believer."
-
He nodded and placed a bowl of steaming hot food before her and then sat down next to her to eat his own bowl.
-
She glanced down at it, unsure if she should eat. "Um...y-you really didn't need to...make me anything..." she mumbled a bit.
-
"Just eat." He huffed and started to eat himself. He enjoyed his own cooking and actually enjoyed cooking for others.
-
She sighed lightly and started twirling the food around. She mumbled lightly. "I'm a vegetarian..." she really didn't want to offend him so she tried a bit, fighting to swallow it. She hadn't eaten meat in a while and it still was disgusting to her.
