She nodded lightly, it sounded better than what she had in mind. she focused on his eyes. "it has to be terrible wearing those contacts all the time."

Xavier blushed and dropped his gaze. "It can be. I take them out when I get home but I didn't think you noticed so.." He continued to strum different notes. "My eyes.. They're um a weird color."

She blinked and shook her head a bit. "They cant be that bad Xavier and I wont judge you." she smiled at him and took his hand. "I promise."

His skin jumped at her touch as if someone had shocked him. But it was a pleasant feeling, one that made his heart jump with it. "Okay.." He stood up and walked out of the room only to return a moment later with his eyes now their true color. A bright rusty red color. Like orangish red mixed together.

She blinked and stood up to look at his eyes a bit better. "Nice color." She smiled a bit. "I've never met someone who had eyes colored like this...um well I guess I can count you."

He blinked down at her and shrugged. "They remind me of fall colors, well that's what my mom always told me." He smiled slightly but a sad one. "Should we go to the library and look for files? I heard this town used to be apart of it's own little trials."

She sighed a bit and nodded. "Yeah I think we should go to the library before it closes. Um..." she glanced at her backpack she set on the bed. "We'll be coming back right?"

"Yeah." He put his things up and grabbed his jacket from the end of his bed. "Charley might follow us but he'll be fine." He led the way down the hall and down stairs before heading outside to her car. Charley whoofed and followed them happily, he had almost the same exact eye color as Xavier.

She nodded lightly and followed after him, a bit unsure about Charley. "The library...isn't that far of a walk from here." She walked to her car quickly and pulled out her wallet. "All we need to do is...take a left after this road ends and were there in a matter of five steps."

"Perfect. I love to walk." He mused and whistled for the dog and he came running after them. "Who's a good boy?" He grinned at the large dog and he barked running back and forth between him and Sadie. "He likes you." He mused as they started walking down the road.

She watched Charley run between them, causing her to smile a bit. "Yeah...I'm not really close to the library, so I usually have to drive..." she walked after him and looked around at the trees.

Xavier looked like a different person as he played with the dog under the cover of the trees. He seemed happy, calm and relaxed even playful as he threw a large stick out in front of them from the dog. The leaves were slowly changing color and this was Xavier's favorite time of the year.

She laughed lightly and smiled watching them carefully. "You seem like you're having fun." She looked up at the leaves were changing slowly, her birthday had only passed a month ago with no one to celebrate it. -
Xavier blinked up at the leaves that matched his eyes and shrugged. "I like.. Being on my own and away from.. People." He shook his head and threw a stick for the dog. They walked through the gate and continued on their way.

She nodded lightly in understanding. "I'm like that too but...I usually have no one to talk to." She mumbled.
