As she kept walking behind him, her anger slowly slipped away into guilt and pain. Her first friend in a long time and she screwed it up. She noticed they were approching the manor andshe still hung back.

"Go to her." He whispered softly and the dog turned around and wagged his tail happily before licking Sadie's hand. Xavier leaned against the gate and waited for her to catch up.

She again ignored the dog and kept her pace until she got to the gate. She still had a small frown on her face, but inside of her so many emotions clashed around.

Xavier waited for the gate to open and walked along side her once more. Charley wagged his tail and trotted along side them. He didn't say anything except to open the front door for her.

She mumbled lightly. "Thank you...and I'm sorry..." she got through the doorway and started to walk up to his room and grabbing her backpack quickly.

Before she could get past him he lightly grabbed her wrist and was pleased to feel that same feeling again. "Don't be. I'm hard to get along with." He said softly and looked into her eyes before letting her go and get her stuff. He stayed by the front door.

She sighed a bit. "So am I..." she mumbled lightly, rushing a bit to grab her things from unstairs. She shook her head and started back down stairs, glancing at him near the door, feeling some of the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Should she really stay to try and get something done..?

Xavier's head snapped up suddenly like a dog and looked outside. Narrowing his eyes he shook his head and looked at her. "You should probably leave." He sai slightly quickly.

She blinked lightly at him and smiled a bit. "I'll...see you tomorrow then? It's Saturday tomorrow..." she mumbled as she started walking to her car. "Bye Xavier."

"Just call me." He said with a quick half smile. And as she got in her car and drove down his hill and out if sight he looked up as his Uncle came walking out of the woods. He was a handsome fellow about 6'2, her blak hair, piercing gold eyes, he was fit with just slightly grey hair starting to pepper his own. "You know what happened last time Xavier." He warned and Xavier dropped his gaze. "I know but.. I can't stop it." He said softly and looked to wear Sadie had driven off toox

Sadie drove off quickly and had the urge to not look back. "Maybe..." she mumbled lightly. "I'll call him to meet me at the library and I'll take him to my house.." she smiled a bit, happy she actually had a friend.

His Uncle snorted softly and looked at the road. "Well, I'm not about to have a reapt of history. Again." He turned on his heels and walked into the house with the door shutting behind him quietly. Xavier shoved his hands into his pockets and walked towards the garden where everything was dead. Letting his guard down he closed his eyes and breathed softly. Opening his eyes again everything was bursting with life.

Sadie finally got home and was greeted by her black cat Nightmare. She smiled a bit and scratched the beautiful cat's head as she walked to her room. She pulled out her phone and the piece of paper Xavier gave her and dialed the number.

Xavier's phone rang and he frowned when an unknown number popped up on his screen. Sliding it to answer he out the phone to his ear. "Hello?" He asked with a slight sigh to his voice as he admired his work.

She smiled a bit, hearing his voice over the phone. "What's up Xavier?" She blushed lightly and shook her head. "Um...tomorrow I could pick y-you...up at the Library and take you to my house?"
