"I have Charley." He said quietly and the dog nuzzled his hand with a slight whine before trotting ahead of them. They turned down the road towards the Libary and he yawned slightly.

"Well I have no one." She mumbled loudly and sped up a bit. "I've never had anyone there for me."

He blinked down at her. "Well now you have us." He huffed and looked down at the ground surprised he said that out loud. Running a hand through his hair it stuck up in places.

She stopped just before getting to the Library and frowned lightly. "You've just met me today, I'm not that special and..." she mumbled. "You'll understand why people don't stay around me long."

Xavier didn't say anything but instead opened the door for her and once she went inside he followed suit and went down an isle to do his own thing. He needed a moment to himself and figure out how someone was doing this to him.

She sighed when she got into the library and went to the historical section, noticing her partner had already wandered off somewhere else. She frowned slightly as she looked through some of the books and files they had.

Xavier ended up getting bored and sitting on the floor. It didn't take long until books of fiction piled around him open, closed, or a mix of both. Like his own little fort he was pleased with it.

She saw him with a pile lf books and she sighed lightly, she felt like he wasn't going to really take it seriously, so she checked all the books and files she needed and started to walk out without him.

Smirking he snatched a book up and flipped through it. "Perfect." It was a book on a 'story' of witches. He knew it was actually real but no one knew that. Putting the others away he checked it out and watched Sadie walk out. Charley looked up at her an wagged his tail happily.

She ignored the dog and kept silently walking, carrying her small pile of books. She glanced at the rolled up map the librarian helped her find about the town plans and gave her a copy of it.

Xavier walked out with the book in hand. "Sadie?" He asked with a frown. If there was one thing he was tired of seeing it was people walking away from him.

"What Xavier?" She looked at him, a bit pissed since he didn't even try to help. She was about to say more when she tripped and hit the ground hard, landing on the concrete. "Owch..."

Xavier sighed and jogged over quickly and took her hands. He lightly pulled her to her feet and handed her the book. "I couldn't remeber the book name so I had to read them." He looked away with a look of irritation in his face. "I got it so you can decide where you stand on the subject." He handed her the books she dropped and shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk away.

She sighed lightly and glared at him. "You know I think I'll go home once we ge back to your place." she grumbled loudly, ignoring the pain in her legs as she followed after him.

Xavier didn't say anything as he walked away from her. Charley trotted along his side and nipped at Xavier's hand slightly but he didn't acknowledge the dog.
