Idk it works as you considering I have many other characters at hand xD)
"Indeed." Hazel said, "I feel bad for my sisters and mom, working all day. I only work part of the day, I usually stay at home with dad."
--
"It was..okay." Richard said, clearing his throat nervously.
--
Kendall escaped his family as fast as possible and head up to his room. He laid on his bed, unhappily. -
kk
"What do you do with your father?" Melanie asks.
--
"Nervous for tomorrow?" his mother asks kindly. -
"He teaches me the guitar, usually. Sometimes though we just talk about life and bond and stuff." Hazel sighed.
--
"Yeah, very." Richard said, realizing he would likely have to leave his mother.
--
"Are you..okay?" Kendall's mother asked.
"No." Kendall answered honestly.
"May I ask what your result was?"
"No, you may not." -
Melanie nodded. "Cool," she says simply.
--
"Hard day too?" his mother questioned. -
"Yes, quite hard." Richard answer, clasping his hands together. His mother seemed to be quite..questioning today.
--
"Yeah." Hazel said, sitting down on the bus. She looked out the window and thought about what lay beyond the fence. -
"What happened?" his mother askeed, while carefully placing the kid back in the crib.
--
Melanie sat next to Hazel and instantly began to sweat. She never liked riding in cars, trucks, or busses, she hated it. She nervously wiped her hands on her dress. -
"Nothing much-- met a few..argumentive people after I got my result and yeah." Richard said, slightly nervously.
--
Hazel sighed and asked, "Why, out of all factions, does Amity do the farming?" She asked, curious.
--
After a bit of arguing about being rude, Kendall's mother left the room, annoyed. Kendall sighed, unhappy with himself.
--
Charlotte was celebrating with her family about getting Dauntless. She would get to stay with her family, -
"Do I need to tell the school about this and have it taken care of?" his mother asks.
--
"Because we have nothing better to do," Melanie answers. -
"No, mother, It's fine!" Richard said with a small groan. He really didn't want to think all about this now. He just wanted to relax.
--
Hazel gave a small laugh, "I'll ask a Erudite then." Her face palened and realized she could probably ask herself in a few days, if she chose Erudite.
--
Kendall sighed and closed his eyes. It had been a long day. All he wanted was some rest. But he knew even if he did manage to fall asleep, rest would not wish being Divergent away.
--
Charlotte grinned, "Okay, I'm gonna go take a walk, mum, dad! Probably meet up with a few friends and celebrate!"
"Okay!" Her parents say. -
his mother nodded her head. "Well... Alright then," she says quietly.
--
"The Erudite are kind of mean, aren't they?" Melanie says, her eyes moving around and she jumps at sudden moments. -
"They can be know it alls, I suppose. But I have nothing against them." Hazel said with a small laugh. "Why would I?"
--
"Sorry," Richard apoligized, "The day was really stressful on me." His hands fodgeted at his sides. -
"They call Abnegation Stiffs, which isn't really nice using slang like that for them," Melanie says with a shrug.
--
"I understand," his mother says. "It's normal to be snappy after a test like that." -
I'm watching Divergent so oooh
Hazel shrugged, "I think everyone has at least something nice in them. That's what I was raised to think, anyway." She shook her head and sighed.
--
"Yeah. It's confusing-- the test." Richard said. "I don't know what to believe anymore." -
really? I haven't seen the movie yet, Only read teh books.
Melanie shrugged again. She never really believed in what she was taught that much. She always thought it was a load of crap. Maybe that's why she's Divergent. She shudders at the thought. "I guess."
--
"HOney, don't dwell on it too long," his mother says. "It's a simulation! It's all in your head!" -
I haven't read the books xD I plan on it, though.
"Unless..you're like..I dunno..a demon or something." Hazel gave a small laugh. Her mother had told her to never joke around about such things, but Hazel never proved the most obideant child.
--
"The result isn't." Richard said, licking his lips. "It's stored on a computer." He added with a small laugh.
