Melanie thought for a while. She didn't really think of that, she was too busy being worried about her being Divergent. She knew she wouldn't mentally survive being in Amity, so that was out. She wouldn't do Abnegation either. Candor was well out of the matter, and she disliked Erudite. "Maybe... Dauntless?" she says.

Hazel nodded, "it'd be change, that's for sure." Hazel sighed a bit.

"it's a big leap," Melanie states. "Going peaceful to dangerous."

"Exactly. If you were looking for different, Dauntless would definitely be it." Hazel offered with a small smile.

Melanie smirks a little. Then laughed. "I was just about to ask you what you were going to choose, but remembered that you didn't know," she says while laughing. "I'm so stupid."

Hazel laughed a bit. "My mind says one thing, the test another, and my conscience a whole different thing."

"Well what do those three say then?" Melanie asks.

Hazel shrugged and said,"Mind says..well..it doesn't know. The test says Erudite. My conscience says Amity."

"Ugh, please, don't choose Erudite," Melanie says.

"I don't know.." Hazel said skeptically.

"But if you do," Melanie says. "Please don't be an ass," she jokes.

Hazel smiled, "they're all not that bad."

"The ones I've met are," Melanie says.

"Who?" Hazel tilted her head.

"Just the people I was paired with in class. They told me I was stupid, or that I acted just like a 'Stiff.' I didn't bother to remember their names, I tired to forget about them," Melanie says.
