Charlotte grinned and nodded. The pit, to her, was like her second home. She loved it there.
Richard nodded, his eyes thin. He would definitally pick a new name-- he didn't feel the name Richard suited him anyways. What would he choose, something generic like Arran, or something more unname like, like Burn?
Hazel nodded, although she liked her name, she felt it was a little too Amity. She was building a new version of herself-- and she needed to prove that. But her old name-- Amity was still her. It was a part of her. How could she choose?
Kendall nodded, he liked his name, but he didn't feel it fit him. -
Louren walked around more, talking about what training will be like. "You'll even get to choose new names if you wish," she adds as she comes to the Chasm. "And this of course is the Chasm."
Ryan wondered what he'd choose for his name. It was really plain, an Abnegation name... He wanted soemthing new.
Melanie thought about it, but she didnt' think that she could possibly change her name. It was the name her parents gave her... She couldn't lose that.
"You," Four says while pointing to Kendall. "Name?" -
Charlotte smiled at the sight of the Chasm. She enjoyed the sight of it, and the thought of changing her name didn't even cross her mind.
Kendall stood up at attention, feeling quite on the spot. "Uh.." He thought for a small moment, feeling pressured, "Kendall." He said, his voice shaky. -
Louren smirked a little as she then lead the initiates to their rooms. "And this is where you will all be sleeping, Dauntless Born only of course," she says as she leads them into the room which was cold, had many leaks, and hardly had any privacy for anyone. "And yes, boys and girls."
Four nodded while writing that down carelessly. He Then pointed to Ryan and asked for his name. Ryan cleared his throat before he spoke. "Mal," he says.
(Mal Reynolds! haha no one gets that) -
Charlotte smiled and nodded. She was slighty taken aback, but she was raised to accept this kind of thing. Afterall, why should she fear it?

"Alright, claim your beds. Dinner will be ready in an hour," Louren says while walking out of the dorm.
Four then pointed to Hazel. "You, name?" he asks the same question. -
Charlotte chose a bed near the southern wall, and sat down it. She tied and untied her shoelaces- a habit of hers.

Hazel's throat felt tight as she thought of the solution. This was a big leap for her, and she wasn't sure why. "River." She said firmly. It was a Amity name, with a Dauntless tint to it. Amity would have called it 'Brooke' because a brooke is usually calm. One step up from that was River, which is more wild. Like Dauntless. -
(Imma make a character for Charlotte so she aint alone)
A girl then walked over to Charlotte and claimed the bed closest to her. She sat down. The girl had long blonde hair tied back in a pony tail. Several colored streaks were in her hair which practically took up her whole head, making it like a rainbow. She had several piercings in her ears and her clothes were tattered. "I hope none of these guys are peeping toms," the girl states. "If they are I'm ready to kick some ass."
Four nodded, also writing that down. He looked to Melanie. "Melanie," she states before she could even ask him. Four nodded, looking over at Richard. -
Okie then)
"I don't really give a f---." Charlotte laughed and smiled. "As long as they don't try anything my body isn't going to change, no matter how much they stare at it."
Richard gulped, his decision had already been made for a while. "Shadow." He answered almost instantly. -
The girl smiles. "So If I dared you to strip naked in the Pit you'd be fine with that?" she questions, laughing a little.
Ryan laughed a little as Four asked for another initiates name. It wasn't long before Four was leading everyone towards the Pit. "You ready to see our new home Ha-" Melanie started. "I mean River?" -
"Sure!" Charlotte answers, her face a barely noticible pink, from laughing so much.
"I guess so." River gave a small sigh. She wondered how she would adjust to her new name, how would it fit her? To herself, she was always Hazel Aldridge. -
The girl laughed, shook her head, and then held out her hand. "I'm Serene," she says. "Horrible name saying that I'm obnoxious," she adds with a laugh.
Melanie put her arm around River's shoulders. "And this... Pit doesn't sound too bad,' she says with a laugh. -
"Charlotte." Charlotte instead just slapped her hand with an insane amount of force before shaking it. She had a smug smirk.
"No, no." River said sarcastically. The Pit, to her, sounded weird to her. It sounded like a deep, dangerous place. -
"And that," Serene says while shaking her hand out, which only stung a little. "Is why I never do fist bumps."
(wait, don't you think it's kind of funny how -except for Charlotte so far- only the Divergent people kept their real names?)
Melanie laughed as Four stopped at the Pit. "Like I said, this is the Pit," Four said over the talking of and laughing of people. Melanie looked around in awe. "This is the... Common room if you will," Four says. "This is the place were mainly everyone hangs out." -
Charlotte smiled and said, "I still do them," Charlotte gave a wild look, "They can be..entertaining."

River looked around the pit and smiled. New name aside, Hazel felt she truely might fit in here.
