"Well, it's nice to officially meet you now that I'm not arguing with Dick, I mean Richard," Ryan says with a grin on his face.

Charlotte smiled and said, "Well, I'd watch who you argue with some people will.." She trailed off.

Ryan nodded, getting the point. "Well, I only argued with him because he's an ass and he couldn't do anything to me anyways," he states, looking around for him for some odd reason.

"Well, soon, he might be able too." Charlotte warned. Then Vicky walked over, "Ooh, teaching transfers manners?"
"Manners..in Dauntless?"
"You know, what will set people over the edge and this and that." Vicky scrunched up her face. -
"I think I've learned when to shut up and when to speak up for now," Ryan states as if it wasn't a big deal.

Vicky scanned him and made a hmmph sound and walked off. "She's going for Dauntless leadership." Charlotte exclaimed.

Ryan nodded. "So... What would she have to be? Top ranked for... whatever initiation is like?" Ryan questioned.

"Yeah." Charlotte agreed, "That is, if I don't beat her." She gave a wild, dauntless smile.

Ryan smiled back, though it wasn't wickedly Dauntless. Ryan then had a confused look on his face. "So wait... You can't choose to be lower if you're top ranked? You have to be leader?" he questions.

"You can, but I don't see anyone who would do that." Charlotte shrugged.

Ryan then grinned again. "I can see why'd they'd do that," he states. "So they don't have to deal with crazy, psychotic people like us."

"I don't understand those people." Charlotte mused, pressing her lips together.

"Why not?" Ryan questions. "What are the perks to being a Leader anyways? What makes it so wonderful besides the fact that you get to boss people around?"

"Then you don't get pushed around by anyone else." Charlotte shrugged.
