"Alright," Eric says while nodding. Ryan takes a deep breath and grins. He doesn't know what's at the bottom, but he knows he'll find out. He turns around and face the crowd of people. "See you at the bottom," he says while falling backwards off of the roof.

Charlotte watched him fall off the roof with a frown, and looked around at the rest of everyone. Many worried faces surrounded her, but hers was a look of greed.
Richard smirked as Ryan jumped. What an idiot, he thought to himself, how can anybody like him? -
Ryan was cheering when he landed at the bottom and hit the net. He was laughing while everyone helped him down and he looked around at everyone.
"Next jumper!" Eric shouted, a small grin on his face as he looked around at everyone. Melanie still didn't say or do anything. She looked around regaining her courage slowly, bit by bit. -
Charlotte sighed and pronounced, in her loud, Daunless voice. "Me!" Her voice was unwavering. She ran up to the ledge, jumped onto it, flailing her arms as she almost fell, laughed and recaught her balance. And, without a second of hesitation, jumped.

Melanie smiled a little, the adrenaline rushing though her. She looked around and noticed that she was the only Amity transfer there. She laughed a little as she ran up to the edge without waiting for Eric to call for her and she jumped with out pausing. She cheered while she was falling.

Richard waited for the time he would jump. He wasn't being a coward, he was just feeling things out, in his mind, anyway.

Melanie made her way over to Hazel and smiled, out of breath. "That wasn't too bad," she states trying to start a conversation.
Ryan walked over to Charlotte and watched as the other Dauntless jumped. "That was fun," he states with a grin. -
"Nope, it wasn't." Hazel had been shaking when she got off the net. She had gotten herself together by the time she was approached by Melanie, but still looked nervous.
Charlotte nodded, not saying a word. She stuffed her hands in her black pants and smiled.
Richard was the last to jump. He realized everyone was likely okay, and jumped, with an increased amount of fear. He screamed as he fell. -
"I'm sure we'll get used to it while we do it more and more," Melanie reassured.
"Don't we get to... change our names or something now?" Ryan questioned Charlotte.
Eric himself even jummped off of the building with everyone else and he smiled as he looked around at everyone.

Charlotte sighed, "Well," She said, her voice sharp, "I've never been through initation, so why don't you ask someone who has?" She pulled the ponytail from her bun in one quick movement.
Kendall had hated the jump, he had jumped right before Richard. He knew he'd get used to it over time.
"Yeah, I suppose." Hazel said, trying to act assured. -

Ryan decided not to say anything, hearing the sharp tone in Charlotte's voice.
Melanie nodded about to say something until another man spoke up. "Alright everyone," Four spoke up. "Dauntless born go with Loren and transfers stay with me." -
Charlotte smiled, "See you, then." Charlotte joined the instructor and crossed her arms, proceeding to crack her neck.

"Alright," Loren says. "You're all Dauntless born so I don't think I'll need to show you around for too long. Follow me." Loren then begins to walk down a few halls.
"My name is Four," Four states. "I'm not usually here training you guys, but for the next few weeks I'll be instructing you." -
Charlotte shrugged, and followed the crowd, slowly.
Kendall shrugged and paid the most attention to his feet, of all things. -
"I'm sure you've all visited the Pit before," Louren says with a small smirk while reaching the Pit.
"For the next few weeks we'll be training you, and you'll all be scored. There are two parts to this training, physical, and mental. We'll be pushing you all to the breaking point and even though you'll be training separately, you'll be scored with the Dauntless Born." Four stopped for a minuet and looked around at everyone. "I'll also need your names," he states simply. "You can pick a new one since you're in a new faction if you want, but just pick a name."
