The rest of the night seemed to last an eternity, but at last the fire faded out. He stood and transformed as the first hues of dawn started to streak across the sky.

She yawned and shifted back, seeing that the sun was finally starting to come up.

He watched as Clancy finally headed back to the house, then turned to Everly. "Good morning."

"I'm gonna go sleep...." she mumbled sleepily, getting off the ground and heading back to the house.

He followed her back, not saying anything.

She slowly walked up the stairs and fell onto her bed, not even bothering to close the door. She was asleep within seconds.

He wasn't all that tired, and decided he'd fix himself a snack.

She slept for about 6 hours.

In the six hours she'd been asleep, he went on patrol with a few of the others and helped replace a flat tire on one of the trucks. Lyall collapsed on his bed shortly before Everly woke up.

She woke up hungry. She hadn't ate anything ever since yesterday morning, so she decided to go downstairs to snoop in the food cabinets.

He was still out. Completely. Zzzzz.

After finding virtually nothing in the cabinets, she opened the fridge to find a packet of bacon. She put about 15 pieces on a plate, and microwaved it. -
nah son he's tired
Anne walked into the kitchen. "Good afternoon. Or, morning for you, I guess. How are you?" -
oh k
She turned to her, then nodded towards the bacon in the microwave. "Hungry."
