(Oh um maybe he could be like oh on second thought i think it would be good for you to see what happens before you experience it)
"Sure, if you want." she said. She opened the bag and took out all the shoes, lining them up in front of the closet door. -
He started unpacking shirts and putting them in the dresser. "I think it'd be helpful for you to see what happens, anyway. Just for reference."

"Alright, sure." she agreed, putting the last pair of shoes down.

He shut the dresser drawer and left, headed for his room.

She followed him to his room, and leaned against the door frame.

He walked over to his desk and pulled a key from the top drawer. "They lock from the outside."

She nodded and took the key. "How long should I lock you in here for?"

"Until I ask you to unlock the door. Or in an hour. Or whenever someone needs me." He shut the door.

She locked the door behind him, and went to her room. She sat on her bed and took her phone out.

He grabbed the book he'd been reading the previous night and settled on his bed.

She started to play doodle jump, laying down on the bed.

He eventually stopped and stared up at the ceiling.

She waited patiently and listed for noises, while still focused on her game.
