He snuck up behind her and grabbed her shoulders. "You know, you didn't need to cook for me. You could have just left." He frowned lightly, his wings twitched behind him.
-
She stiffened up under his grip, but when she realized it was him she relaxed. "I knew you'd probably be hungry when you woke up." She shrugged, placing the steak on a plate and holding it out to him. "Besides, I kind of owe you a meal."
-
He took it and shook his head lightly. "You didn't have to." He placed the plate down and tilted his head curiously. "I'm guessing you don't like the smell of meat when it's cooked?" He smirked a bit.
-
She shook her head and made a face. "Not really. But I figured it must smell good to you." She noticed that the bite marks on his neck had already faded. "You really are a fast healer." She said, sounding surprised.
-
He blinked lightly and shrugged. "All angels are fast healers, what about demons?" He poked her lightly, forgetting about his steak on the counter.
-
Shay shrugged. "We heal fast, but not that fast...You were only out for a little bit." She explained.
-
He grinned. "Well we are powerful so yes, it's nice to know that you're accepting of that." He wrapped his arms around her waist. "Although demons are interesting." He looked down at her.
-
She grinned back up at him and wrapped her arms loosely around his neck. "Interesting? How so?" She wanted to know what he thought of her.
-
He thought for a moment. "Well demons are just interesting, they have many different races and angels just look like humans. I've met many demons, yet none that were half something else." He glanced at her. "Well, you're not the first vampire I've met. I ran into one once before and he was angry I ruined his meal. I killed him because he wouldn't leave me alone."
-
Shay nodded slightly. "Well vampires do hate to have a meal inturrupted... And angels are interesting too. I've never met one who didn't try to kill me right away, so I like being able to get so close to one." She smiled up at him.
-
He blinked and blushed a bit. "Well...I think I'll take that as a complement..." he glanced down at her. "You're just an odd demon. Do you even know which of your parents was a vampire?"
-
She looked down and shook her head, frowning slightly. "I never met either one of them. They left me in the care of the demon who raised me. At least that's what he told me." She explained.
-
He shook his head lightly. "Sorry...if it makes you feel better I don't know my parents either." He sighed a bit. "Although the angel that took care of me said my eyes reminded her of my mom's. She was...an odd old angel." He heard his stomach growl lightly.
-
"I assume both your parents were angels?" She asked curiously, not detecting any other species in him. She heard his stomach growl and laughed slightly. "You should eat."
-
He nodded lightly and picked the steak up. "They both were angels, but angels...don't usually take care of their kids. It's like a breeding thing. They have older angels take care of their kids." He started eating the steak, smiling a bit. "You're a good cook."
