"I-I had a run in with a pair of angels on the other side of the city." She lied quickly. David tilted his head and narrowed his eyes at her. "You sure?" She nodded and took a step back. "I only smell one angel on you. And it's still alive. You're lying to me." He stepped towards her and his fingernails extended into long claws. Shay took another step back and felt her fangs appearing.
-
He spotted Shay on top of a building, with another demon. He frowned lightly and flew a bit lower, staying out of sight until she needed help.
-
"I-I'm not lying!" She protested, although her voice fell on deaf ears as he lunged for her. She jumped out the way and her wings shimmered into view again. Claws of her own appeared as David spread his wings. They looked dragonesque, like Shay's, but they were black rather than red. The two of them flew into the air, scratching and swiping at each other. Shay winced as he scratched her wing and he cried out when she sliced his arm.
-
It hurt him to see her get hurt and he summoned a glowing sliver sword, flying over quickly and slicing one of the male demon's hands off. He frowned lightly and glared at the demon.
-
David cried out in pain and clutched his injured arm. "Working with angels now, Shay? I expected better from you." He hissed, before flying off. Shay frowned, watching him go. She was a little scratched up, though the wounds had already begun to heal.
-
He frowned lightly and glanced at her. "Are you okay...?"
-
Shay sighed and nodded. "I'm fine. Sorry you had to deal with him." She said, her claws and fangs disappearing. "David's never liked me, this just have him an excuse to try and kill me."
-
He shrugged lightly. "It's fine Shay." He grinned a bit. "Did you have fun flying around?"
-
She nodded and grinned a little. "I did. What about you?"
-
He grinned back at her and flew closer to her. "Yes. I did like my little flyby." He blushed lightly and felt rain start to fall. "We better get back...I don't fly well when my wings get wet..."
-
Shay nodded. "Yeah, we should go then." She started back towards the building, feeling the icy droplets hitting her wings.
-
He started flying quickly and landed on his balcony, right when the rain started pouring. He was soaked when he finally got into the condo.
-
Shay landed right beside him, equally as soaked. Her wings shimmered out of view and she hurried into the apartment, shivering slightly.
-
He shivered along with her and glanced at her. "You don't have any spare clothes do you?" He walked into his room and came out with a long shirt, holding it out to her.
-
Shay frowned. "No, I don't. Not with me at least..." She took the shirt and smiled a little apologetically. "I'll get some new clothes as soon as I can."
