He chuckled lightly and shook his head. "It's fine Shay." He went to go get dressed in something warmer. He came back with only a pair of grey sweat pants on.

Shay went into her room and emerged with just the shirt on. She was still shivering slightly. "Oh, I hate rain..." She sighed and collapsed into the couch.

He sat next to her and pulled her close to him, hugging her gently. "Same here..." he mumbled lightly.

Shay blushed deeply, but didn't pull away. He was warm, and being wrapped comfortably in his arms quickly chased away her shivers. She sighed happily and snuggled into his side, not really realizing what she was doing until she was pressed up against him.

He blushed deeply and chuckled lightly. "Comfortable?" He grinned down at her. He didn't mind that she was pressed against him.

Shay blushed and nodded. She listened to the relentless sound of raindrops pounding the roof and sighed.

He wrapped his arms around her waist loosely and looked at the fireplace in front of them. He mumbled and pointed one finger at the wood, a golden ball of lightly shot out of his finger and lit the wood.

"That's handy." She mumbled with a little grin. The crackling fire immediately improved her mood, she much preferred bright flames to the melancholic sound of a storm.

He laughed lightly and smirked down at her. "It is when you need to stay warm." He mumbled lightly and moved her to his lap, laying her down with him on the couch.

Shay blushed deeply and looked up at him. She felt so protected when she was around him. It was a new feeling to her, and one that she liked.

He smiled down at her and kissed her forehead teasingly. "I'm happy that other demon didn't hurt you very badly." He was angry that the other demon dare attacked her.

Shay waved it off nonchalantly. "There are many more powerful demons that would love to kill me." She explained. "David's just a good tracker, that's how he keeps finding me." She sighed and leaned up to peck him on the lips. "But yeah, I'm glad too."

He blushed lightly and held her chin lightly, holding her in place. "Well if he ever tries to harm you again, I'll kill him." He smirked and kissed her gently, holding her close to him.

Shay blushed deeply, and kissed him back rather tentatively.

He pulled away and hugged her close to him. He felt a bit tired really, but he didn't want to fall asleep now, not yet. He mumbled lightly and buried his face into her hair.
