Zoey smiled a bit and then brought the bottle out. " fine I'll let you try a bit of it." she got out some wine glasses and put a little bit into Saphirre's cup.
-
Saphirre took the glass delicately and lifted it to her lips. She took a small sip of the liquid and tilted her head. "It's...weird. But not bad."
-
She chuckled lightly and shook her head. "After a few cups you'll feel it, but I'm not giving you anymore." She pushed over the sandwich to Saphirre and smiled a bit.
-
Saphirre grinned and thanked her, taking a bite of the sandwich. She smiled. "Mm, this is delicious!" Almost anything tasted good compared to the lab's food, but this was especially good.
-
She took a bit of her sandwich and smiled lightly. "I'll tell Zac you said his food was good." She chuckled lightly.
-
Saphirre tilted her head. "Is he a friend of yours?" She asked, taking another small bite.
-
She waved her hand and snorted lightly. "A college friend who decided he'd be my personal chief when we first met." She mumbled lightly as she kept eating.
-
Saphirre smiled and took a sip of her tea. "That was nice of him." She commented with another smile. She was glad that Zoey didn't seem upset about the situation with Daniel anymore.
-
She finished her sandwich and placed her plate near the sink. "When you're done we'll find your room." She walked out of the kitchen, forgetting about her wine glass.
-
Saphirre blinked at the remaining glass of wine. She was tempted slightly to take it, since Zoey had seemingly forgotten about it, but she'd said that Saphirre shouldn't have more, and Saphirre was more inclined to listen to what she had said. Sighing lightly, she finished eating and took her dishes to the sink.
-
Zoey waited out near the kitchen entrance and smiled a bit. She was a bit curious, was her daughter as rebellious as she was at her age or was she like her father.
-
Saphirre sighed and glanced at the glass again, a silent battle going on in her mind. Her consciousness told her not to, but her curiosity got the better of her and she reached forward, picking up the glass and examining it.
-
Zoey didn't say anything and soon walked out of the room. She knew that her daughter was fighing the rebellious side.
-
Saphirre hesitated, but placed the glass down without drinking any of it. She sighed, a little angry at herself for almost disobeying Zoey. She sighed again and walked out of the room to search for her.
-
Zoey was at one of the stair cases, waiting for her daughter. "Well? Aren't you coming?" She smiled lightly, arguing with her rebellious side saying that Saphirre would probably drink some wine later at night.
