She sighed lightly and shook her head. "It's fine Saphirre." She smiled lightly at her. "He was a great man when he was alive..." she closed the locket. "He was excited to hear you were going to be born." She laughed lightly. "You remind me of him, small things that make me remember him."

"Like what?" She asked. She was flattered to hear that she reminded Zoey of someone who seemed like such a brave, strong, good person.

"You stumble over your words when you're nervous which he used to do when we first started dating and other small things like your body language." She laughed lightly and smiled a bit sadly. "Samuel would have been excited to see you here..."

Saphirre hugged her gently. "I'm sorry." She mumbled again, smiling a little sadly along with her. She sighed lightly. "I'm so glad we found each other." She said with a smile. The odds of finding Zoey in the candy store still surprised her.

Zoey slowly hugged her back and sighed lightly. "I'm happy that we found each other too..." she blinked lightly when she saw something grey scamper across the marble floors of the living room. "You...didn't bring any animal here did you?" She chuckled lightly.

Saphirre blinked and shook her head. "No...why?" She hadn't gotten the chance to say goodbye to Ron, and last she'd seen the puppy he was scampering around the apartment. She hadn't taken either of them. "Though I'm sure Ron would've like to stay with you too..."

Zoey walked over to where she saw the blob of grey and picked up the puppy. He barked and whined, trying to get out of Zoey's grip and wanted to go to Saphirre. "Seems like a little friend followed you."

Saphirre laughed slightly and took the puppy from Zoey. "What're you doing here, hm?" She asked, smiling apologetically at Zoey. "Sorry, I didn't even realize he'd followed me."

She shook her head lightly. "No little bird it's fine really. I love animals." She smiled and petted the puppy's head. The pup nuzzled her head and whined happily, his stubby tail wagging.

Saphirre smiled and petted the puppy. "He still doesn't have name." She realized, tilting her head to look at the little pup.

She glanced at her and chuckled. "Well you can think of a name while I make some tea." She started walking and soon stopped, turning to look at her. "You two can explore if you want to."

Saphirre smiled and nodded. She set the puppy down and watched him thoughtfully, trying to think of a suitable name.

Zoey came back with a tray and a fancy china tea set and placed it on the middle table in the room, trying not to trip over the little dog. She poured two cups and held one out to Saphirre.

Saphirre gratefully accepted the cup and took a sip, smiling as the warm liquid slipped down her throat. "Thanks." She told Zoey, absentmindedly petting the puppy, still at a bit of a loss for a name.

Zoey drank out of her cup and smiled lightly. "Thank you hon." She blinked lightly and coughed. "So you and Daniel are...intimate?"
