When Grace next woke up it was morning. She yawned a little, but she didn't want to move, she just wanted to go back to bed. -
Zane was still asleep, lightly kicking and panting in his sleep.

Grace opens her eyes and looks at Zane worried about him kicking like that in his sleep. She wasn't sure if she should wake him up or let him rest.

Zane woke up with a start. He reached a hand through his hair and muttered, to himself, "Damn.."

"Are you okay?" Grace asks worried.

Zane just then realized Grace was there and his throat went dry. He cleared his throat, and said, quietly, "Fine, fine."

Grace raised an eyebrow, not believing him.

Zane sighed and laid back down, not uttering a single word.

Grace sighed and laid down next to him again, holding onto his hand. "It's okay," she whispers.

"I know.." Zane whispered. He rubbed his thumb on one of her knuckles, forcing himself to desperately choke down tears.

Grace looked up and gave him a small kiss. "Now do you need anything?" she asks.

"I'm fine." Zane insisted. Although, what Zane really needed was some time alone. In a dark room. So he could cry all of this unuseful stress off.

Grace wanted to state that he wasn't, but she knew that, that wasn't going to help anything. She sighed and slowly stood up. "I'll be right back," she says while heading to the bathroom.
