Zane shuddered awake, waking up shivering. A small yelp escaped from the teen's mouth, thinking he was still in that dreadful room. His body froze in fear until he took in his surroundings, realizing where he really was. 'I'm safe now,' He told himself, 'Calm down, you're with her. Stop looking so pathetic.' His eyes widened, gazing into her soft brown eyes. "Oh.. Sorry. B-bad dream." He stated, nibbling his lip, his body still shivering. Zane blinked a couple times.
"My brother? He stays locked in his room all day." Enya realized that even though the worst episode of her life was over, she still came back to the cruel reality she used to come home. She came back to worrying about her brother, worrying what other people thought of her. Enya came back to the luxury of teenage drama. Although now it seemed less terrible now, it was still a force to be reckoned with. Going back to school would be exceptionally difficult- with all of the stares of people, thinking she was different. She dreaded it. "No, we probably shouldn't skip. Plus I still haven't told my mom we were dating- ugh, that won't be fun."
