Zane sighed and listened.

"We are." Enya imformed. -
"They'll want to see you Zane," her mother went on.

Evan nodded.
(ugh, *with a jump) -
Zane sighed and said, "Okay."

Enya sighed and kept walking. -
Grace and her mom pulled away. "Zane, you can stay here if you'd like since-" Grace's mom couldn't finish.

"COme on," Grace says softly to Zane. She grabs his hand.

Zane nodded a bit, trying to just shrug everything off.

Grace slowly leads Zane to the guest room and she shuts the door behind them.

Zane sat down on the bed and sighed, not speaking a word.

Grace sat down next to him and rested her head on her shoulder. "It'll be okay," she whispers.

"I hope." Zane adds.

"it was okay for us," Grace says while trying to hold back tears.

Zane grunted in response.

Grace puts her other hand on his other shoulder and pulled him closer.

Zane breathed heavily, in order to not cry.
