Nyx slowly blinked, taking it back with a quick motion. She chewed on the side of her mouth, causing it to bleed, and her mouth filled with blood.

Jack paused time and collected the blood from her mouth in a cup with a lid.

She gave him a look that spoke, "Really? Really?"

He then resumed time and said. "a souvenir" and smiled.

"I am right here, you know." Nyx rolled her eyes.

Jack laughed, smiling. "funny." he said.

"That's me." She said, avoiding eye contact.

"y'know at first i couldve sworn you were coming onto me." said jack. laying down on the couch.

"Bip-" She cut herself off, looking at the ground, quietly.

-Add on. "First impression's a b----, I guess." She watched the floor, as if it was bound to move.

"yes i know i wont say it aloud though" he said. "you seem nice"

"Nice?" She rolled onto the floor, laughing. Nyx had never been so giggly, but "nice" was an overstatement.

"not the usual reaction when i say that. but i guess its okay." he said.

Nyx grinned, sitting up. "I'm not very usual, am I?" She stretched her twenty foot wings, "Damn! Cramp."

"you need a massage dont you. you get these cramps often?" He said. concerned. "i used to be a massues...before, you know."
