"Not really." Nyx smiled, a true smile, folding her wings, which had been blocking the sun.

Jack blinked and squinted his eyes. "why do you need my blood?" he asked, frowning.

"Because I like it." She made a puppy face, frowning like a puppy.

"like?" he said, confused. "is it special?"

"No, I just like it." She continued making that face, "It's a souvenier."

"why do you need a souvenir?" Asked Jack "i am right here."

"But you're not mine." She concluded, holding up the jar, "This is mine."

"i could be yours. but a meteor and plague has a way of killing the mood." He said as he stood up.

Nyx chuckled, "Why would you be mine, in the first place?"

"why would i not... would you like to come inside?" asked jack.

"Why not?" She hoisted up her black backpack onto her shoulder, and walked up to him.

"getting a little close aren't you" Said jack as he walked inside. the room was clean. at least by apocalypse standards.

"Depends on your meaning of close.." She scanned the room, with an eye for detail. Making an escape plan, if needed.

"not trying to make assumptions but im sure you wont need an escape plan." said jack sitting down on the couch. "i wouldn't hurt a fly unless it hurt something that matters to me.

Her green eyes blazed, literally. Then they slowly extinguished. "Instinct." She stayed standing up, fidgeting uncomfortably.
