jake massaged her wings and shoulders carefully. avoiding the part that was cramping. "is that better?" he asked.

"Somewhat." She looked back at him, smiling, "You can't change the fact that I have twenty foot, eighty pound wings straining on my body all the time."

"no but i can make it much easier on you" He said caringly.

Nyx couldn't help but smile. She actually met his eyes, though uncharictaristic for her right now. Her green eyes wanted to dart all over the place, but somehow they focused on his.

Jack didn't look away. in fact he smiled.

Nyx slowly blinked, ignoring the fact that staring at him with a grin seemed awkward and stalkerish.

His blue eyes looked past her for only a moment. "would you like a drink from the kitchen, i am parched myself." he claimed.

"What kind of drink?" She asked, curious.

"what is your preffered beverage?" he asked, walking towards the kitchen.

Nyx laughed, "Brandy, vodka. I like alchohol."

"ha. as do i" he returned with a bottle of vodka.

"That'll do, I suppose. What a romantic gesture." Nyx pointed out, with a chuckle.

"it is only romantic if you want it to be." He said pouring them both a glass.

"Maybe I want it to be." She grabbed her glass and took a drink.
