Nyx blushed, but turned away quickly, stretching her wings with all her might. "Damn cramps!" She exclaimed, before sitting down, quietly.

Jack got to the top of the stairs before realizing nyx was not behind him. he turned around and said "maybe you should stay when i go to the city."

"Why?" She questioned, lifting an eyebrow. She was likely about to be very b----y.

"because." he looked her in the eye and said. "i want you to be safe."

"Safe? Leaving me here alone is safe? Plus, I can take care of you, and myself." Nyx countered, her pointer finger ignited in flame as she said this.

"i can alter everything here and erase any trace you were here. if you stayed in that closet you would be safe, but nevermind i supose..." he said caringly.

"You're taking me with, because you need me, anyways." She grinned. Nyx had some wonderfully crazy thoughts going on in her head.
