"will you stay here" he asked. "you won't likely be safe either place" he said, walking back down the steps and putting his hand on her shoulder.

Nyx sighed, "Don't act all anxious. I'm coming with, as you may need me."

"are you in any shape to travel?" He asked. "i own a car."

"I own some wings who can travel at speeds faster than a car." Nyx pointed out, with a laugh.

That also get cramps more often then not." he said grimly. "i dont want you falling from the sky."

"They usually don't cramp when falling, and if I fall from the sky, hope I'll get back up and keep moving." She advised, carefully.

"you try to be strong. for what." he said "for it is the shy and timid who survive. for they learn to avoid danger."

"They also learn to not take risks, which can lead in the one's they love dead." Nyx answered, quickly.

"human nature..." he said. "ok honey if you are so strog then you dont need my help getting up do ya?"

Nyx glared at him, clenching her dagger. She may like him a lot, but you should never piss Nyx off. "No." Nyx said slowly, standing. She gived him a small kiss on the cheek as she walked off.

"ok. are you ready. it is about 5 am.." said jack, looking out the window.

"Yeah." Nyx answered, bluntly. She was not in a good mood, she hated being doubted or protected in any way.

"i can tell you are in a bad mood, and i know why. so i will not attempt conversation. lets just go." He said walking back upstairs.

"Then don't doubt or protect me if you want me in a good mood." Nyx answered, in a growl.

"i do not doubt you or protect you. but i just...just... lets go" Jack said, walking out the door. tripping over a dead scientist.
