(it was mright there
e'yup)
It was a bit before Magnus pulled up, getting out of his car, unlocking the door with the key that had been given to him. He didn't say anything to Arcelio as he made his way to Angel's room, picking the sleeping child up.
The assassin couldn't even put what Archer had said into sense, until he did, and when he did, the little cry that came from his throat hurt way less than his heart did. -
(arcelio has been wondering why ro seemed to have boobs upon his return)
Arcelio jumped a little when he heard the door opening, before he remembered Magnus owned a key to the house. He sighed when the man came in, holding out the pink bag stuffed with clothes and a hairbrush and hair clips and every other girly thing Angel might need. "She's got all her overnight stuff in there, including clothes and a toothbrush, and her teddy." -
(/laughs and gets strange look from brother-in-law and responds with "boob joke")
Magnus took the bag, nodding at the man. Carefully, so that Angel wouldn't wake, he reminded him. "If you get her involved, I'm getting custody. Remember that." Without another word, he left, slamming the door behind him. At the exact moment he pulled out, a sleek, silver care pulled in, and a teenage boy with orange hair and bright blue eyes got out, and then opened the back door, picking up a sleeping someone bridal style, heading for the front door, which he somehow managed to open. The young boy was more or less a smaller and frailer version of Corrin. -
(The source of all awkward laughs)
Arcelio was already in the bathroom starting to pack medical supplies into a backpack when he thought he heard a car door slam shut- no, two. He stopped, and listened, and then the front door opened. He cursed under his breath, putting the backpack in the empty bathtub and hurriedly looking around for a weapon- toilet plunger. That would work. He held it like a baseball bat, and slowly stepped out of the bathroom to look for the source of the noises. -
(he's so done)
Ocean had already sat Rosario on the couch, and was pulling a blanket from his bag when he heard footsteps, and turned, staring at Arcelio. Slowly, he sat the blanket and the bag down, holding up his hands. "I.. I'm Ocean. Corrin's son? I'm suppose to be dead? Archer tried to kill me, but I don't leave jobs undone, and he had the kid again," He paused, motioning to Ro, "And I had to. I didn't hurt him, but I had to drug him to get him out. He was screaming, and.. And it'll wear off after he wakes up. I'm sorry. I should go. You'll take care of him?" -
Arcelio stared at Rosario on the couch, then breathed a little, lowering the toilet plunger until he'd carefully set it on the floor. "No, I'm sorry," he groaned, stepping into the room to check on Ro whilst still talking to Ocean. "I'm glad to see you're okay. Are you looking to find your dad after you leave? Do you want something to eat? Because honestly I'm in no rush now." As he spoke, Arcelio sounded exhasperated.
-
"No, and no. My dad doesn't need to know. If he knows anything, anything at all, Archer will use him again. And he barely got away last time. It isn't worth it. And, I really, really can't stay. Thank you, though." And then he was gone, leaving the back and blanket on the coffee table. When the door closed, Rosario shifted, opening his eyes at Arcelio, glancing around. He started to sit up, and his eyes flew wide, hos mouth opening in a gasp of pain.
-
Arcelio watched Ocean go, before turning back to Rosario. When the boy started to come to, the older one's eyebrows raised, scrunching together when the boy seemed to be in pain. "Hey, hey, lay back down," he gently instructed, kneeling on the floor next to the couch. "What's hurting?"

(WAIT NO
OMFG IM SO MAD
DO YOU KNOW WHAT NUMBER POST THAT WAS
THREE HUNDRED, THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND
AND ONE
ONE. WHY WHY WHY -
Rosario listed, laying back down, his eyes shutting. For a moment, he didn't answer, but when he did, it was with a sob as he touched his side where there were after-surgery stitches, and then moved his legs apart to show the purple bruises where someone had forced his legs apart with their knees. " I-it was D-Dad, oh, oh G-God," He was still crying, pulling at the over-sized white tea shirt, the only item of clothing he was wearing, that didn't do much to cover the dried blood on the back of his thighs.
-
Arcelio became even more confused, looking his son up and down and talking gently as Rosario began to cry. He worried that Ro was meaning that something had happened to Rayson, but he tried to stay calm, for the crying boy's sake. "Sh sh, do you want to get cleaned up? And you can tell me what happened while we do? I can find some old clothes of Daniel's for you to change into, don't worry, it's okay, Ro, don't cry."
-
Rosario nodded weakly, moving to put his legs over the side of the couch and sit up. He had stopped crying for about two seconds, but when his eyes fixed on Arcelio, he started sobbing again. "H-He.. He.. He w-wouldn't s-stop, a-and it h-h-hurt, and it still.. Still does.."
-
Arcelio moved up, sitting on the couch next to Rosario but giving the boy a few inches of space. "... Was it Archer? I'm sorry I didn't come pick you up faster, and I should have stayed with you at the hospital, but you're going to be safe from now on because I know that he's still around."
-
"N-No.. Not.. Not Archer. Dad." Rosario seemed to break at the word, his hands tangling themselves in his shirt, pulling at the white fabric, squirming around in the spot he was sitting, crying softly.
-
"... Ro, I don't think I understand what you're talking about," Arcelio answered, though he was trying to avoid what he thought Rosario might mean. "You know where Rayson is?"
