Arcelio was hardly as patient as he'd been with Rosario, tapping his fingers on the hotel dresser. "We're just having some issues at the moment and I need you to watch your sister, if you aren't busy. It's kind of important."
-
Magnus sighed, twisting the ring on his finger. "Yeah. Yeah, I'll come pick her up. I'll be at the house in two hours. Have enough clothes for her when I get there. And I swear, if she's been involved in any of you and your f---ing boyfriend's mess, I'll freaking tell the authorities what really happened to my dad, and I'll get Angel. I don't want her f---ed up. I don't want her to end up like Ro." With that, he hung up.
-
Arcelio rolled his eyes, and set the phone on the desk. Really, he just wished Magnus would accept the fact that it was all an accident. And that he and Rayson were taking just fine care of Angel and Daniel. At least, they had been before. Now he wasn't so sure.
-
Charlie came over with some bandages, salve, and a couple wet rags. "Alright. Lay on your stomach, kid. I've got work to do."
-
Arcelio raised an eyebrow at Charlie referring to him as 'kid', but maybe he was a lot older. He nodded, and went to the bed that wasn't occupied by Angel and stripped of its sheets, doing as he was told by laying longways on his stomach. The blood on the back of his head had begun to dry, and he'd been avoiding touching it.
-
He moved over, setting the stuff on the left of Arcelio, straddling his midsection but stay off his back because he remembered about the pain in his chest. Gently, he dabbed the head wound with a rag.
-
Arcelio bit his lip through the stinging, and though he felt a little awkward in the position, he figured it was only necessarry if Charlie was going to clean him up. He kept his head still, knowing that if he moved it he might make it worse. "Magnus wants to meet us back at the house in two hours, by the way. He's taking Angel home."
-
Charlie hummed, nodding, and after he had finished cleaning up the blood, gently put some salve on it, and then wrapped him up. "Oh. Well, we'll leave in a few minutes, then."
-
"Yah. I've got to get Angel up and talk to her. Magnus isn't very fond of me and I wouldn't want her tipping him off about anything..." Arcelio felt a little silly with his head all bound up, even if it was needed.
-
"Why doesn't he like you? If you don't mind me asking," Charlie stood, tossing away the rags. He glanced at his phone, and then snatched it up, scrolling to a picture of a man taller than himself, with brown, messy hair, and a pretty smile. He was holding a baby in his arms, a toddle clutching his pants leg. Charlie held it out to him, smiling a bit. "That was them. My family, the day we adopted Samantha."
-
"He blames me about his father dying. And everything else." He rolled over and sat up when Charlie moved off of him, slightly adjusting the bandages on his head. When it was presented to him, Arcelio gazed at the picture, smiling slightly. "They're beautiful."
-
"Oh. Tough." He took the phone back, scrolling to the end again, finding one of him and Rayson kissing, and Janelle making the most disgusted face while Tate covered Alexander's eyes. The five had been close, extremely so. Tate had been the oldest, he would be about thirty seven now. Alexander was the youngest, the baby, only twenty six when he had died.

(I took a nap)
While Charlie seemed to be looking around on his phone, Arcelio went to find his pants. He did, and pulled them on, then went to Angel's side and gently rubbed her back. "Hey, baby, we've got to go. You're going to go see Magnus." -
(Good. Have you eaten?)
Angel made a noise of complaint, batted his hands away, and rolled onto her stomach. Charlie hardly noticed any of this, looking at the photos from more than ten years ago he had yet to delete. There was only one with Archer in it, but he was sitting in the corner with a girl sitting in front of him, and he was, it looked like, braiding her hair. Smiling and laughing. There was no blood in the picture. No death. Just smiles. -
(I ate dinner, and I plan on having breakfast tomorrow if I decide to miss a bit of studio time.)
Arcelio slipped his hands under her, wiggling his fingers against her stomach to tickle her. "We've got to go, you've got to pick out clothes for the night and Magnus misses you."
