(Stick to the marijuanas baby.)
Arcelio, after living with nosy kids for five years, had learned to become oddly accustomed to being partially undressed with people. He took a step towards the room, gave Charlie a backwards look, then nodded to give him permission in.
As he walked in, he looked down at Angel. "Nah, that's okay. It'll be okay." -
(Okay. owo
also wanna hear a funny story)
Charlie stepped into the room, closing the door behind him, putting his phone in his pocket. He inhaled, shaking his head, a slight smile taking over his face. "I haven't heard from him in years, you know. And tonight, tonight, I'm sitting at home with my boys and then I get this call, and he's begging me to come play hero and save his family, because he saved me once. This is more than what I owe, though. Archer.. That's not a guy you want to get involved with."
Angel wiggled down from her Dad's hold, running over to one of the beds, jumping onto it. -
(Yus)
Arcelio let Angel go, keeping an eye on her as she ran off. There was no way he was letting her out of sight again. And he still needed to make sure Daniel and his boyfriend were doing alright, if he could find a way to do so.
"No, he's not. I thought we were done with him ages ago. But Rosario came back, and since then everything's been crazy." He went to work gathering the messy sheets from the bed he and Rayson had used, balling them up and putting the heap on the floor. -
(Okay so the other day, I was in gym with these two other girls. We had went to the locker room to get something out of one of their bags, and afterwards, I was at the water fountain, drinking some water while they were in the bathroom area, doing something I don't know what. Anyways, one of them was like, "Hey, let's do the Bloody Mary thing, guys!" So, I go over, and I'm like, "Yeah, sure, okay," Because you know? So they turn off the lights, and it's like really dark, and I was kinda not feeling it anymore, and said that maybe we shouldn't, and they told me not to be a p---- , so. :I So we did it, and then one of them was like, wait, the sinks have to be on for it to work, and so they turned on all the sinks, and we did it again. And then, suddenly, the lights came back on, and we all turned around to see the gym coach standing there, and I swear I nearly wet my pants.)
Angel worked her way under the covers, curling up into them- She was tired, it had been a long day.
"Yeah, I heard about Ro.. I met him once, when he was a baby, before me and Jessie left to come up here. He was a cute little guy. Do his eyes still look like pennies?" Charlie was walking over to the small kitchen area, filling the coffee pot with water, setting it on to make some coffee. "Anyways. Do you need to make any calls? Archer got rid of Ray's phone, though, so don't bother with that." -
Omg I did that once during gym in third grade when I went to Catholic school and the teacher sent me to the principal and the principal talked to me for forever about ghosts not being real.)
Arcelio went to the bed Angel had selected, pulling the covers up over her shoulders and giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Always has," he said to Charlie. "I'd kind of like to make a call to Daniel. He's in college, I want to make sure he's doing okay." -
(xDD Dork. Ours just stared a us until we ran off.)
Angel yawned, and, within a matter of minutes, had drifted off. Charlie couldn't help but stare at her for a minute with a look of wistfulness. Sighing, he handed Arcelio his phone, nodding. "You do that. I'mma run across the street and get some bandages and stuff to fix you up. You're bleeding." With that, he took off.
(little bit bout Charlie
He had two daughters and a husband after Rayson.
Archer killed them all, and tried to kill him. But Rayson saved him, though he wished he hadn't.) -
Arcelio took the phone from Charlie with a thank you, and stayed seated on the edge of Angel's bed while he tapped in Daniel's number. He made a silent, hopeful wish that Daniel or his boyfriend would pick up, and put the phone to his ear.
(Archer is a bifch) -
Daniel didn't pick up, but his boyfriend, Allen, did. "Hello?" There was a hint of distrust in the voice, as Allen knew about the whole thing with Rayson, and he always got a bit suspicious when an unidentified number called his boyfriend- Who was sleeping at the moment.
(yes
also I forgot his boyfriend's name so it's Allen now) -
Arcelio gave a little breath, relieved to hear Allen's voice. The boy did sound troubled, though. "Allen? Hey, it's Arcelio. Is everything going okay down there?" He asked, reaching his free hand to brush his fingers through Angel's hair.
(omfg) -
"Oh! Hi, Arcelio. Yeah, we're fine. Danny's sleeping, though. He's got a bit of a cold, so I'm not letting him stay up late. Why? Is something wrong?" Allen had dropped the covered tone of his voice. Though he didn't care for Rayson, he simply adored Arcelio.
Charlie returned, with two bags. One had microwavable food in it, the other held medical supplies.
(heh) -
"Yah? I hope he feels better soon, I know you'll be good to him." He paused at the question about whether something was wrong. He sighed. "Mm, you know, I think you're gonna be just fine. Keep your door locked up, don't open the door for strangers... Just the normal stuff, y'know?"
-
"Yeah," Allen said, and nodded before he remembered that Arcelio couldn't see him. "I'll do that. Want me to tell him to call you when he wakes up in the morning? He's been complaining about thinking something was wrong."
Charlie sat the bags down, and took out two cans- One of ravioli, and one of chicken noodle soup, holding them out to Arcelio for him to pick one. -
"Please do, if you could." He wondered what had tipped Daniel off that something was wrong, but he figured it couldn't be so bad if he was sleeping and hadn't called. While he kept speaking to Allen, he pointed to the chicken noodle soup that Charlie was holding out, then gave him a thankful smile. "Right. So. Has everything been good? Moved in alright?"
-
"Alright. And yeah, yeah, he's getting settled just fine. School's been a bit hard on him, though. He never did enjoy being around a lot of people. But, he's fine. How're you? And Angel?" Allen didn't ask about Rayson, because, honestly, he didn't care.
Charlie nodded, and moved to dump the soup into a bowl, popping it into the microwave. -
Arcelio decided not to worry Allen with his physical condition, and told him, "I'm just fine. Angel's sleeping, she's doing good." At her mention, he brushed his fingers through her hair again. "She's been really cranky when she gets up lately. Growing up way too fast."
