Brenda tried to hide her crimson blush, but it didn't happen. A nearby vase exploded because of her extreme emotions. "L-leave me alone."

Not wanting a repeat of yesterday, Maria's expression quickly softened. "I'm sorry Brenda! I was just joking. I'm glad things went well for you, really."

She blushed lightly and mumbled under her breath. "She...kissed me."

Maria's eyes widened and she wrapped Brenda in a hug. "That's great! I knew it would work out."

Brenda blinked and hugged her back. "Mhm..."

Maria stepped back. "What? Is something wrong?"

Brenda shook her head lightly. "No Maria I...we better get to work." She walked out of the room. Truly she was still unsure about if Will truly loved her.

Maria watched her go before beginning her own cleaning. Brenda seemed a little put out about something, but she decided not to question it.

Brenda started cleaning, making her doubt almost go away. The boys came into the manor and started their own work an hour later.

Maria greeted the boys with a little smile and got back to work. She felt a little tired, but she was otherwise in a good mood.

Brenda looked around and went over to Maria, looking a bit worried. "Maria...you didn't sleep did you...?"

Maria glanced over Brenda's shoulder to peer into a mirror. She saw slight dark circles under her eyes. "It's fine, Brenda." She said with a little grin. She didn't want anyone to worry.

She sighed. "It was a nightmare. Wasn't it?" She hugged her. "Trust me...no one likes those."

Maria sighed and nodded. "I'll be okay though. I can do without a little sleep." She promised.

She looked down at her. "But that baby can't Maria. That baby is also apart of you and it also needs sleep dear."
