Maria quickly finished and smiled. "Well, we're both fine now. That's what matters."

She nodded and chuckled lightly. "Well that's good. Maybe you and Sebastian can have fun with that gun right there "

Maria grinned. "I will need to learn to shoot it at some point." She told Brenda, putting her duster away.

She laughed. "Well Sebastian is very good with a gun. He could teach you instead of Daniel."

She nodded. "Yeah, I'll ask him about it when he gets home. It'll be nice to finally be able to protect myself, rather then keep relying on other people." Maria sighed. "The first time it was you, and now Daniel. I just don't want anyone getting hurt."

She smiled. "Maria I'll always protect you, you're my sister so deal with it." She stuck her tongue at him.

She grinned and stuck her tongue out back at Brenda. "Alright, but if you get hurt I won't be happy."

She laughed at her. "Me getting hurt? That's hilarious!" She shook her head and chuckled lightly.

Maria sighed. "Brenda, Clark knocked you unconscious in a matter of seconds. He could've killed you right there." That was what confused Maria. He could've killed Brenda, but instead he's gone straight for her...

Her eyes widened and looked Maria over. "He didn't...try to bite you or anything did he?" She shook her head. "Daniel saved you so you're fine. I don't...know why he would go after you..."

Maria frowned and shook her head. "I don't know either. Unless he knew about the baby, but that's impossible..." She suddenly looked nervous. "That's impossible, right?"

She nodded. "It is useless he has someone on the inside, but the boys despise vampires and I'd never hurt you." She hugged her gently. "It's okay."

Maria sighed and nodded. "Okay, you're right. It just makes me wonder...I mean, of course I'm glad he left you alone, but I don't understand why..."

"It's because you're what makes Master Wolfe tick. You make him happy so Clark can somehow tell that. Clark is an insane idiot who is alone, he just wants what Master Wolfe has." She patted her head gently.

Maria nodded, understanding. "I'm a little surprised. For such a powerful vampire it seems like he could get anything he wanted."
