He growled more and he uncuffed her from the chair, holding her in the air by her shirt. "You are going to be trouble, I can already tell." He soon started dragging her out of the room and back to his car.
-
Maria fell silent quickly after that. Her heart was pounding. He wouldn't kill her. She couldn't escape. If she resisted, she would be punished. Maybe if she layed low, at least for now, there would be some way out when they arrived at his manor. She rotated her jaw, the stinging in her cheek fading as she quietly let him pull her.
-
This time he placed her in the front seat with her hand cuffed to the door. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm driving." He closed the door and walked to his, opening it and he started the car. Rain started pouring down as he turned the windshield wippers on and drove off. The farther they got away from town...the more calmer he looked, like some weight was lifted off his shoulders.
-
Maria quietly noted how he seemed to get less and less tense as they exited the perimeter of the city. She, on the other hand, was just about ready to jump off the nearest cliff. Rain had always made Maria feel melancholic, and that, combined with the mark on her wrist, the monster only inches away from her, and everything else that had happened to her today...She turned away from him, glaring out the window and hoping he wouldn't notice the tears threatening to spill over from her eyes.
-
He could guess she was angry at him and she was probably crying right now but soon they were out of the city and he breathed a sigh of relief. He hated the city, no matter what he hated it.
-
"What've you got against the city?" She asked. Thankfully her voice didn't sound shaky, only cold. She didn't risk looking at him, keeping her stinging eyes out of sight, but she couldn't stand the rain and the silence.
-
He looked at her and frowned slightly. "It's none if your buisness, Maria." He kept driving until they soon drove into the woods on a dirt road. The forest looked dark and mysterious, filled with dangerous creatures.
-
Maria shrunk into the seat with a barely audible sigh. Her body was tense. The suddenly darker environment was making her uneasy. Not wanting to look out at the magled forest, she averted her eyes from the window to glance at Sebastian. He really did look much less tense than he had before. No less intimidating, but just a little bit more human.
-
He soon pulled up to a sprawling white manor that looked like it belonged in the southern United States. He stopped the car near the entrance and got out. He walked to her side, opening the door and uncuffed her. He helped her out of her seat and started walking up the steps to the front door.
-
Gtg, sorry! I'll be on tomorrow.)
Maria stared up at the large white manor, trying to take it all in. She absent mindedly rubbed her now-free wrists, wondering how Sebastian would like it if she slapped him back. But that probably wouldn't end well for her, so she thought better of it. She followed him up the steps and paused at the front door. -
Its okay! See you tomorrow.)
Sebastian frowned when she opened the door before him, but shrugged it off. Inside the manor looked fantastic, everything looked designed for the place and the furniture matched. Nothing red was really in the house, everything was either white or grey. He walked in and hear and low dog like growl when he saw a black mass runing at him. He fell down and a bull mastiff was on top of him. He sighed. "Hi Daisy it's good to see you too." -
Maria slowly looked around the house, taking in the montone-color-scheme with curious eyes. She knew that dogs and wolves were colorblind, and she wondered if the same went for werewolves. When the dog tackled Sebastian she muffled a squeak of surprise and stepped away.
-
The bull mastiff now named Daisy wagged her stub of a tail and barked. Sebastian petted her head gently. "Yes it's very good to see you too. Now get acquainted with Maria." The dog turned it's head and saw Maria. It got off of him and walked over to her, sniffing her curiously before barking happily. Sebastian got up slowly and looked around. "I knew the furniture wouldn't be changed by the time I got back."
-
Maria's lips twisted up into the faintest hint of a smile as she held her hand out to the dog. She'd had a dog as a child, before the monsters had taken over, and she had absolutely loved it. "Hey Daisy," She murmured, using the name she'd heard Sebastian call her. His strange remark about the furniture confused her, and she tilted her head slightly, shooting him a questioning look.
-
Daisy licked her hand and barked again. Sebastian looked at her and frowned a bit. "I wanted different colors. Not the grey and white, really wish they did change the colors. They make me feel like a dog." Daisy tilted her head and he cleared his throat. "No offence Daisy."
