Maria managed a small "Oh." With one hand she absentmindedly stroked Daisy, her fingers stroking the dog's dark fur. She wasn't sure what to do. He seemed much calmer now that they were out of the city, but she had to remember what he was. A werewolf. A monster. He could easily go back to the fearsome man who'd stood over her at the police station. Her mind strayed to another topic. He'd said a maid. She could clean well enough, and hopefully that would keep her busy and away from him. But surely she wouldn't have a uniform...right?
-
Daisy grumbled happily and leaned against her legs, almost knocking her over. Sebastian started walking and he waved for her to follow. "I'll show you your room. The uniform here is a black shirt with the Wolfe crest on the right breast pocket, a pair of grey slacks and black shoes. You will work for four hours everyday and the rest of the day is yours. Never go outside without me. The other servents...will be here tomorrow. They went to visit their families." He turned and looked at her. "Any questions?"
-
Where are we? What happens if I do go outside without you? Why did all your servants leave for visits the same day? Will I get to visit my family? "...No." She shook her head, leaning down to run Daisy's back. Maria was a tiny bit relieved, she had been picturing a black frilly dress. Fortunately, that was out of the picture. But she still wondered what she was supposed to do the rest of the day. Four hours really wasn't all that long...
-
He glanced at her and sighed. "Yes you do have questions, that was a hesitant no. I know...four hours isn't enough but the manor isn't hard to clean really. I don't have guest visit here often." He kept walking and soon stopped at a door, opening it revealing a queen size bed, a dresser, a joint bathroom and a walk in closet. "Sorry if it's not spacious enough."
-
Maria nearly did a double take at the sight of the large room. Having spent the majority of her first years in an overcrowded apartment, and the latter ones in various minuscule hotel rooms, the room itself looked like a mansion to Maria. She supposed she would just have to stay in her room for the remaining hours. Boring as it may be, staying out of Sebastian's way was probably the best option for now. At least until he let his guard down a little.
-
He started to walk away. "I have...buisness to attend to. Get acquainted with your room and...get some rest. You look like you haven't slept." Daisy trotted after her master with her stub of a tail wagging happily.
-
Maria gazed after him, a bit surprised he'd noticed her lack of sleep. Though at this point, she really shouldn't have been overly shocked, he'd already managed to guess her exact age, and even picked up on the hesitation in her reply only moments earlier. She watched him walk for a second longer before turning back to the room. The closet would serve little purpose, seeing as how all her belongings (extra clothes included) had been taken. But the rest of the room was stunning. Taking his advice (or rather, his orders) she got onto the large bed, collapsing on the soft white comforter. Maria was anxious, it probably wasn't safe to fall asleep while a deadly werewolf was prowling only a few feet away, but her lack of sleep quickly caught up with her. Maria's drowsiness overtook her and soon she was blissfully unconscious.
-
Sebastian walked out the back door and waited until he saw a shadow blob up and float towards him. He frowned a bit and glared. "I know demon, but I needed another maid since the last one you killed." The ball of shadows let out an odd snicker, but soon disappeared. "Stupid demons. You all should be locked back up into Hell." He started walking around the perimeter of the house. Seeing if any other demons were in the area.

Maria's sleeping form shifted slightly in the bed. Dreams had been rare for Maria, but an occasional nightmare was becoming less and less uncommon. Each night she saw the same thing. Her father, or rather, what was left of him. After a small group of bvampires discovered the human family, one of them had decided to attack. Her father had been killed right before her young eyes, and although Maria's mother managed to drags her and her brother away and escape, the image still haunted her. Tonight, however, after the repetitive terror concluded, she saw something else. She was in a barren, open landscape, empty as far as the eye could see. She was running from something, she could hear whatever it was catching up to her. Her felt tangled with each other and she fell, turning to see a pair of all-too-familiar bright blue eyes...
Maria let out a sound somewhere between a gasp and a sob. She sat up, breathing heavily, her heart pounding. She told herself it was just a dream, slowly sinking back into the sheets as her breathing and heart rate slowed. She lay awake for now, staring at the ceiling and trying to think about anything except the situation she was stuck in right now. -
Sebastian passed by Maria's window and glanced in. She looked like she just woke up, maybe a nightmare. He sighed and couldn't wait until his other servents came...maybe she'd be happier around other humans. He kept walking until he came to the front door. The perimeter was clear for now. He glanced up at the moon and frowned. "Three more days til a full moon." He muttered to himself quietly.
-
Maria was able to distract herself wondering what sort of 'business' Sebastian had gone to attend to. Things like hunting humans, or battling some other beast occurred to her, but she wasn't sure they were true. He could just be doing paperwork, like he had at the office. She glanced out her window, focusing lazily on the swollen moon. It was almost full. She rolled over onto her side, deciding she would try to get some sleep again. Besides, if Sebastian wanted her up early she would have to be ready. She didn't know what kind of punishment he'd give her for being late, and she definitely didn't want to find out.
-
Sebastian walked back inside and saw Daisy had closed the back door with the rope he tired to it. He smiled a bit and walked up the stairs near the entrance of the manor and took a right. He walked down further the hallway and opened to his room, it was a very black colored room with black everything. He frowned. "They didn't even change the color of this room." He walked over and flopped onto his bed, falling asleep quickly.
-
Eventually Maria drifted back to sleep. This time her rest was dreamless.
Time skip to the morning?) -
(actually I always do this fun thing where I make it turn morning)
Sebastian woke up when he heard people moving around down stairs. He groaned lightly and sat up. He yawned and went to his closet, grabbing a black suit, slipping it on. He then put on some black loafers and walked out of the room. He walked down the steps to see two of the servents out of his five cleaning the front room. He smiled at both of them and walked to Maria's room. He knocked on her door. "Wake up Maria. You have work to do." -
Okie dokie!)
Maria groaned, longing for five more minutes, but she knew that wasn't an option. She quickly rolled out of the bed, spotting the uniform he'd described earlier hanging in the closet. "Give me one second to get changed," Shs called through the door, grabbing the clothes and jumping into the bathroom.
