"Sadie, calm down..." Maria said, stepped back towards her daughters. She went to hug Delilah, to wipe away her tears, but then thought better of it. She obviously wanted nothing to do with Maria. "She doesn't have to apologize, I understand why she's man. And like I said, I'm going to fix it."

Sadie growled lightly. "Stop treating the family that took me away from that hell hole like crap Delilah!" She rolled up her sleeve, showing the young girl her scars. "If you never had your parents there for you this would happen! The evil monster in charge of that orphanage beat me, cut me until I was screaming for mercy because of who my father was! I thought I'd never be safe!"

"Oh my God, Sadie..." Maria gasped, feeling like she was about to cry. Her scars weren't from Clark after all. They were from a completely different monster.

Delilah soon broke down and started crying harder, curling up into a ball. "I-I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." Sadie rolled down her sleeves and glanced at Maria.

Maria knelt down beside her and hugged her gently, a little timidly. She was afraid that Delilah would lash out at her again.

Delilah clined to Maria, sniffling and hiccuping constantly. Sadie sighed lightly and shook her head lightly with a small smile on her lips.

Maria rubbed her back softly and soothingly. "Shh, it's okay Dee, it's alright..." She murmured to her softly, trying to calm her down.

Gelilah looked at her and mumbled sorry and that it was her fault. Sadie soon disappeared after hearing that.

Maria smiled and hugged her a little tighter. "It's not your fault, it's okay..." She didn't like seeing Delilah so upset, but she was glad she didn't seem to completely hate her anymore. -

Delilah hugged her tighter and kept mumbling sorry to her. Sadie smiled at how Maria was still asleep. She glanced over and walked over to Delilah. -
Pretty good, although these past couple of days I got practically eaten alive by mosquitos...How've you been?)
Maria kept her arms around her, reassuring her that it was alright and that it wasn't her fault. -
I'm allergic to those things! :3 I've been alright.)
Delilah looked up at her and sighed. "I better go..." she hugged her tightly. "Bye mom..."
Sadie was holding Delilah carefully and feeding her a bottle. -
They're evil! I kept scratching the bites and now I have a buncha cuts on my legs ;-;)
Maria murmured a goodbye and her eyes fluttered open. She yawned softly and sat up in the chair, her eyes landing on Sadie and Delilah. She smiled, happy to see that Sadie was so good with the baby.
