Older Delilah panicked and pulled away from Sadie. "Y-you're not suppose to be able to touch me!" She screamed at Sadie, but the girl didn't back down from Delilah. "Stop being mean to mommy you...you butt face!"

Maria stifled a laugh at Sadie's valiant attempt to come up with a sufficient name to call Delilah. She picked Sadie up, hoping that older Delilah's screams wouldn't wake younger Delilah.

Older Delilah frowned lightly, but had a bit of hurt in her eyes as she disappeared. Sadie hugged her tightly and mumbled.

Maria sighed, wishing there were some way for her to take the pain out of Delilah's eyes. She held Sadie close, and sat down, sighing again.

Sadie blinked lightly and tilted her head at Maria. "Is mommy okay...?"

Maria nodded and smiled reassuringly. "I'm fine, sweetheart. Just a little tired is all." She explained, not wanting her to worry.

Sadie smiled lightly and lied her head down, humming the song Sebastian was saying to Delilah. She soon started to feel herself fall asleep.

Maria stifled a yawn and closed her eyes, listening to Sadie's soft humming. She willed herself not to fall asleep, not wanting to face Delilah again.

Sadie still hummed and noticed that Maria hadn't fallen asleep. "Mommy...go to sleep. I'll be here."

Maria smiled softly. "Alright. If the baby wakes up wake me up too, okay?" She said, relaxing into the plush chair and starting to drift off.

Sadie nodded lightly and kept humming. Older Sadie appeared again with Delilah in tow. "Say sorry to her!" Delilah didn't budge.

Maria grimaced and took a step back, suddenly wishing she hadn't fallen asleep. "D-Delilah... I'm going to fix this. I know you hate me and it kills me inside to know that my baby girl is going to stop loving me one day, so I swear to you I'm going to fix it. I'll be different. I'll listen, I'll be there for you. I-I promise."

Delilah stayed silent and Sadie whacked her in the back of the head, causing the girl to shoot a glare at her older sister. Sadie frowned lightly. "She's trying to fix things Dee, she really loves you and it's making her upset. Even the Maria in the future is so stressed she's on bed rest Dee! Sebastian is trying and yet you treat your father, a hero as a piece of trash!"

Maria bit her lip and stayed quiet. When she heard how Delilah was acting towards Sebastian she felt another pang of guilt. She loved Delilah but Sebastian didn't deserve that. He loved Delilah.

Delilah still didn't say anything and Sadie got frustrated, sharp claws appeared on her and her fangs popped out. "Say it now." Delilah panicked and soon tears streamed down her face.
