Maria nodded. She saw Sadie's reaction to the name and bit her lip worriedly. "Maybe we shouldn't talk about this now. I'll call you...later."

Will nodded lightly and walked out of the manor. Sadie looked a bit scared and was on the brink of crying.

Maria knelt down so that she was closer to Sadie's level. She brushed the little girl's hair to the side and smiled comfortingly. "It's okay Sadie, you're safe here."

Sadie wrapped her arms around Maria's neck and started crying.

Maria hugged her tightly and lifted her up into her arms. She rubbed Sadie's back soothingly. "It's okay, it'll be alright..."

Sadie hiccupped an bit and sniffed. "I-I'm sorry..." she mumbled lightly and she held onto Maria for a bit longer.

"It's okay, don't apologize." She soothed lightly. She kept holding her tightly. "You don't have anything to be afraid of."

Sadie soon cried herself to sleep in Maria's arms.

Maria sighed lightly and smiled, bringing her upstairs. She gently set Sadie down in her bed and tucked the blankets in around her. She kissed her cheek quickly before going downstairs to finish her cleaning.

Delilah decided it would be fun to visit and appeared in front of her. "Sadie seems to be having fun." She smiled a bit.

Maria sighed. "All she's done since she got here is cry..." She answered worriedly. "I hope things get better."

She smiled a bit. "Things do...just they take time mom. They just take time." She shrugged. "I mean she gets happier."

Maria smiled slightly. "That's a relief. I just want her to be comfortable here." She turned to look at Delilah. "So what happens after you're born? Will you come and visit yourself?" She asked curiously.
