He thought for a moment and grinned. "True, I think that will work." He lifted her up and placed her on the bed.

She laughed softly when he lifted her up. She snuggled into the sheets and looked up at him with a smile.

He smiled and slid under the covers with her, hugging her close to him. "Good night Maria..." he mumbled lightly.

"Good night Sebastian." She murmured back. She layed close to him and smiled softly, drifting off.

He mumbled a goodnight back to her and buried his face into her hair. A storm rolled into the area, causing thunder and lightning to appear and heavy rain. Sadie woke up with a jolt and whimpered lightly. She crawled out of her bed and walked into Sebastian's room. She tugged on Sebastian's arm and he woke up. He turned and saw Sadie up. "Something wrong hon...?" A loud clap of thunder rumbled through the air and she squealed, climbing into the bed. He smiled a bit.

Maria groaned softly and blinked her eyes opened. "What's wrong..?" She mumbled sleepily. She saw Sadie and heard the thunder and smiled slightly, moving to make room for her in the bed.

Sadie moved in between them and was shaking a bit. "L-loud noises..." Sebastian kissed her forehead gently and smiled lightly. "It's alright Sadie, just thunder."

Maria pulled the blankets back up around them and smiled softly. "He's right, the storm will pass soon."

Sadie mumbled something as she started to fall asleep again. Sebastian yawned lightly and fell asleep after her.

Maria smiled at the both of them and fell back asleep as well, her last thought being that at that moment, they really felt like a family.

When morning came, Sebastian got up slowly, trying not to wake up either of them. Sadie had curled up to Maria in the middled of the night. He got dressed in another room and walked out of the manor for work.

Maria woke up a short while later. She noticed Sadie curled up to her and smiled softly. She decided to lay there for now, not wanting to wake Sadie up. She noticed Sebastian gone and realized he must've gone to work.

Sadie woke up an hour later and blinked lightly. "Morning mom..."

Maria smiled back at her. "Good morning Sadie." She rose out of the bed. "Are you hungry?" She asked, waiting for her in the doorway.

Sadie nodded hungrily and got out of the bed carefully. She followed after Maria and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. A phone rang downstairs.
