Maria stood up and went to Sadie's side. She gently placed her hands over the little girl's and positioned her fingers so that she was holding the knife correctly. She helped her cut a piece off and then let go of the knife, letting Sadie try it for herself. -

Sadie blinked lightly and tried to cut another piece without Maria's help, but she soon found she couldn't. tears started to fill her eyes and she looked extremely frustrated. Sebastian walked over and got down to her level. "Sadie its okay, you'll get it." he smiled. -
Yeah, Sadie sounds like such a cutie~)
Maria smiled encouragingly, again placing her hands over Sadie's and helping her cut off another piece. "He's right, it just takes a little practice." -
Sadie smiled a bit, but soon was preoccupied with her meal. Sebastian smiled at Maria and went back to his plate.

Maria sat back down and started to eat her own meal, happy that Sadie had at least accepted her help. She hoped the little vampire would warm up to her in time, although she could understand her shyness. She was living with two people she barely knew.

Soon Sebastian and Sadie were both done with their meal. The little girl picked up her plate and glanced around to where the kitchen was and she walked that way. Sebastian smiled at Maria. "She's a very quiet person they told me."

Maria nodded. "She seems like a sweet girl though." She said with a light smile. She stood up and grabbed both her and Sebastian's dishes and walked into the kitchen, placing them in the sink.

Sadie jumped and finally got her plate near the sink. She smiled at both of them, her fangs going back to normal size and her violet eyes seemed to not glow anymore. She tilted her head. "You said I have a room...?"

Maria nodded. "It's upstairs, I'll show you." She smiled slightly and held out a hand, silently hoping she would accept it.

Sadie looked a little bit scared to grab Maria's hand, but she soon took her hand carefully, trying to cover her hand shaking a bit. Sebastian smiled and watched them carefully.

Maria held her hand carefully and gently as she led Sadie upstairs and into her room. All her clothes had been out away in the dresser and the bed was made. It looked a little plain, she realized with a small frown, but maybe Sebastian would let them paint the walls or something. Sadie could even pick the color.

Sadie looked at her room and saw the large bed. She tilted her head and smiled lightly, letting go of Maria's hand. She climbed onto the bed and looked around at the room, her eyes landing on a ruffle like dress poking out of the dresser. "Color..."

Maria tilted her head, slightly confused. She sat down on the bed a little ways away from Sadie and pulled open the drawer. "We got you some clothes, but if you don't like them we can get different ones."

She frowned lightly and pointed at the walls. "I mean..no colors." She blushed lightly and hugged her legs. "I like the clothes..." she tilted her head at Maria. "I hear two heart beats from you."

"Oh, you're right. I'll ask Sebastian if we can't paint it, okay? You can pick whatever color you want." She said with a smile. When Sadie asked about the heartbeats she glanced down at her swollen stomach. "Well...I'm going to have a baby." She replied a little awkwardly. "She'll be your sister. Her name is Delilah."
