He moved her legs and sat down on the couch, pulling her up into his lap and holdinf her close. He sighed lightly against her neck.

She blushed a little and smiled, his breath tickling her neck. "It's nice being home with you." She said with a little grin.

He nuzzled her neck and chuckled lightly. "I know you like when I'm home, you don't have to work and you love my company~"

She laughed lightly and snuggled into his chest. "You're right, I do love your company..." There was really no point in denying it, he obviously knew. She laughed again.

He grinned happily. "Good! I wish I could say off more days..." he hugged her gently. "I'd love to be here more instead of at work."

Maria nodded. "I know, I wish everyday could be like this..." Of course she enjoyed her time talking to Brenda and Will, but just lazing around with Sebastian all day was perfect to Maria.

He yawned lightly and leaned back, causing him to flop onto the couch. He curled up with Maria in his arms and started to fall asleep. " a small nap sounds nice..."

She shifted into a comfortable position in his arms and let out a yawn of her own. "That does sound nice..." She closed her eyes and quickly drifted off.

He fell asleep soon after her, listening to the rain hit the roof of the manor. He buried his face into her hair out of habit in his sleep.

Maria did not sleep dreamlessly, which was unusual. Sleeping close to Sebastian seemed to keep most of them away. But then it wasn't a nightmare, just a fleeting image of the same little girl. Her auburn curls and bright blue eyes shone happily.

He hugged her closer to him in his sleep and didn't have any type of dream. He heard the grandfather clock chime lightly and he woke up to glanced at it. They both had been asleep for two hours.

Maria let out a small yawn and her eyes fluttered open. There was a small smile on her face as she remembered the dream. She yawned again and saw that Sebastian was awake as well.

He got up and stretched lightly. "Well that was a nice nap..." he sighed lightly and heard the phone ring. "I'll get it." He got up and went to the hallway, answering the phone.

Maria nodded and sat up, watching him, curious as to who was calling. She guessed it was probably just Will or maybe someone from Sebastian's work.

He frowned lightly, hearing one of his deputies saying they needed him to work. He sighed lightly. "Fine I'll be there." He hung up the phone and walked back into the living room. "Maria...I need to go into work. I'm sorry, but somehow it's urgent."
