Maria brought her hand away and gasped. She smiled widely as she took in the rainbow of flowers. "Oh, Sebastian it's absolutely beautiful!"

He grinned and chuckled lightly. "I knew you'd like it." He started walking down the steps to the garden and sighed lightly. It was still nicely kept.

She smiled and glanced around, her eyes landing on a bush covered in full red roses. Maria walked over and bent down, taking in the sweet scent of the flowers.

He just watched her from the bottom step and sighed. He was happy he finally got to show her the garden, but this place was a hassle to take care of.

Maria turned away from the roses. "You really should've showed me sooner, this place must be a real nuisance for one person to take care of." She made a mental note to add the garden to her work list.

He chuckled lightly. "Usually one of the brothers can handle this place easily." he blinked and stood up. "You like roses alot."

She nodded with another smile. "They're my favorite." Red roses was more specific, Maria had always been particularly fond of the ruby flowers.

He grinned and felt a droplet of rain hit him on the head. He blinked and glanced up at the sky to see it was starting to turn grey. He grabbed her wrist carefully and pulled her under the back porch when the rain started pouring.

Maria leaned lightly against him and watched the rain fall, listening to the peaceful sound of raindrops pattering against the porch roof. "That was close."

He smirked lightly. "Well I couldn't leave you out there." He hugged her tightly and watched the rain fall.

She hugged him back and layed her head on his chest. She closed her eyes. "I can hear your heartbeat." She said quietly. It was a comforting sound, and combined with the feeling of being wrapped in his arms Maria doubted she would enjoy anything else as much as this.

He laughed and glanced down at her. "Well that tells you I'm still alive." He said jokingly. He kinda liked being a smart ass, but it was fun. -
Good! I mean I've got about ten kids(my cousins) crawling over me almost constantly but even that's not so bad. How are you?)
She laughed and pulled away, poking his forehead. "You just ruined that." She said, though her voice was obviously teasing. -
I'm good, I have a small headache and can't find the headache medicine so..yeah.)
He laughed more and grinned at her. "Awe how did I ruin that Maria? It's true!" He kissed her forehead lightly. -
Aw, that sucks. Hope you feel better...)
She sighed exasperatedly. "That was all romantic and then you just had to come up with a smart-ass comeback, didn't you?" She asked in mock fury, though she grinned a little when he kissed her.
