Maria spotted the car outside. She turned to Sebastian and let a single year fall, before softly pressing her lips against his. "Goodbye Sebastian." She whispered, before going out the door. She climbed into Will's car and tried to wipe the tears from her eyes. "Thanks for coming." She said, trying to hide her wrist.
-
Sebastian watched as she got into the car. No void of the person he once was in his eyes or even in his soul.
Will saw he wipe the tears from her eyes and started her car again after saying five words. "What you're doing is wrong." She then drove silently to the city and to her apartment. -
"He doesn't want me there, all I do is cause trouble, I'm only a burden to him..." She mumbled, more tears falling. She looked out the window and saw her apartment. "I should go, I'll find a hotel or something." She managed. Maria didn't want to be a problem for anyone else.
-
Will glared at her and kept the doors locked, maybe using a bit of magic for Maria not to leave. "Don't you dare think you're a burden to him! He's done everything, everything to protect you and keep you both safe!" She pointed at Maria's stomach. "If he didn't love you, then why are you still willing to have his child Maria?! He wants you there, but you pushed him over that edge! He's probably crying and locked in his room!"
-
She glanced at her stomach, then at the ground, not wanting to meet her eyes. "Just let me out, please. He made it clear that I was no longer needed."
-
Will felt her anger spike as she grabbed Maria's chin to make her look at her. "No, you're going to learn why he did that. You're going to accept not eveything is your fault that he is angry. You're staying at my apartment whether you goddamn like it or not."
-
Maria pulled away from her and stared back at the ground, but Maria no longer had the energy to argue. "Fine." She said quietly. "I'll stay. But I already know why he did it. I don't have to talk to him about it."
-
She nodded and unlocked the doors, opening her side then going over and opening Maria's door. She walked the girl into the building and to her apartment. The place was brighter than Sebastian's manor and smaller.
-
Maria glanced around the apartment but stayed quiet. All she really wanted to do right now was lock herself in a room for a few days, and maybe sleep. What really worried her was the baby. Sebastian had sent her off without pausing to think what might happen to his child. Part of her wanted to find Clark right now and just end it, to make everything easier.
-
Will walked her to a spare room she had that had a crystal ball in the middle of the room. "You will be staying here, that crystal ball will let you see anything or anyone you want to see, but I doubt you will." she walked to the doorway and sighed. "If you need anything just ask me Maria. I'll be keeping an eye on the baby and you, so please eat things too while you're here."
-
Maria nodded. "Thanks." She muttered softly, eyeing the crystal ball. She almost wanted to see what Sebastian was doing, but decided against it.
-
She closed the door behind her and sighed. She walked to a phone and called Brenda. She waited until she heard her answer. "Brenda, I need you to keep an eye on Sebastian." She mumbled hush like. "Just...make sure the idiot doesn't do anything stupid. Him and Maria got into a fight."
-
Maria layed down on the bed with a heavy sigh. She was still toying with the idea of Clark. Sebastian was really the only reason she was still alive, and now that he no longer needed or wanted her...And the city was so crawling with Night Clan members that she was bound to be caught sooner or later. But Clark would be best, he already seemed to dislike her. She sat up and glanced at the crystal ball again, curiously.
-
Will nodded when Brenda started to speak and she soon hung up. She sat on her couch with a heavy sigh. "Why are you testing me?" She glared up at the ceiling, like someone was there.
-
Maria sat on the edge of the bed. "...Show me Clark." She said softly, half expecting it not to work. She eyed the door, knowing that if Will saw what she was doing and knew what she was thinking that she'd probably panick.
