"So am I! My name's Lucy," she smiled back at the girl.

"I transfered here from Rivertech High, its about 50 miles upstram." Mariah explained.

"Cool! I moved from New York City, so it's a big difference for me." She laughed slightly.

"Rivertech is a pretty small town, it does have a huge mall, highschool, and a drop dead cinema, though!" Mariah said excitedly. "Here there are more opportunities, and a good college, but I had to leave my friends Janus and Skye there though, so that sucks." Mariah covered up that Janus and Skye hated her, and that she was expelled for her power, and here was supposed to be a new life.

James sighed, and made sure his sleeves were rolled down. -
"Cool!" Lucy replied. She didn't want to go into the details of why she had moved. That was something she wanted to forget about.

"Yeah, I hope I'll be able to stay for a while, and not move!" Mariah was a pretty upbeat character, but could also be dark and annoyed.

"Yeah, I'm hoping I'll be able to stay here a while too. It's supposed to be pretty safe around here right? Cause in NY there were a few not so nice people..." She trailed off with a slight shudder.

"I'm not sure, dad didn't really tell me much." Mariah sighed.

(What type of school is this? How many pupils are allowed per teacher? How many grades does the school include?) -

Just a high school, probably regular classes, like 20 kids or so,and most high schools are ninth-to-twelfth grade.) -
"Yeah.." Mariah blinked a bit, awkward.
