It was the famous Mike Williams, who hated James with a bloody passion. Mike began to give him the death stare as J walked into the school, head low.

Lucy followed James closely. "What's wrong with that guy? He keeps glaring at you..."

"He hates me." J explained, quietly.

"Why?" Lucy asked, glancing back at the other boy.

"Because people change."' J ventured to his locker.

Lucy didn't really understand his answer so she stayed quiet. She moved and opened her locker, a few down from James'.

Papers spilled out of it, all saying brutal things about him, that should not be repeated. Ever. "Another day in the life!" J sighed.

Lucy eyed the papers. Why were people so cruel? She wondered to herself, shutting her own locker and bending down to help James pick up the papers.

Mariah waltzed into the school, waiting to see her friends again. She found her locker, which was about three down from Lucy's.

James took a pair of scissors and slashed at the papers he picked up, then putting them in the recycling bin. He got his books, without a word.

Lucy threw the remaining papers into the trash with a sad sigh. She turned to the girl next to her, putting on a fake smile. "Hi."
