Ginji narrowed his eyes at the newcomer, tilting his head slightly.
He smirked to himself, noticing that the man didn't approve of the swords. Ha. Serves the damned wolf right. -
Fall couldn't answer. Leich snorted, then went to circle the cage. He poked cautiously at sharp ends that jutted out harshly from everywhere within the cage. Fall watched silently, barely suppressing a toothy grin as his boss looked over his handiwork, as Leich crouched down to stare at Ginji.
"You hurt in there, cat-boy?" -
"No." Ginji replied. "Of course not. What kind of question is that? I'm in a damn cage." He hissed.
-
(Sorry, dinner.)
Leich didn't respond beyond breathing out a little more heavily through his nose. He straightened up, pacing back to where Fall waited with twitching lips.
"I'll deal with you later. Start setting the cages out."
Fall gave him an exaggerated salute, chuckling at the annoyed look on his boss' face as he stalked off. -
(s'kay)
Ginji watched him leave, then turned to the wolf guy again, glaring. -
Fall turned to the cage directly to his left, the one with the fanged fish-lizard whatever it was. He grabbed onto the bars and started pulling the overly heavy cage down the ramp. It took him a good four minutes just to get it onto the ground- that ramp really wasn't safe for their work, he really needed to bring it up with Leich- and another twenty to get all the others down.
He'd saved Ginji for last, of course, clutching the bars and leaning down to wave at the boy.
"So how bored are you right now?" he asked as he started to tug the cage toward the ramp. -
"Bored isn't quite the word I'd use to describe myself at the moment." Ginji replied cooly, tilting his head, crouching down lower in the cage again.
-
"Oh. Well if you were, I'd be saying that you won't be for much longer." he paused at the top of the ramp, glancing it over, and scooted the cage over to the edge. "This town's got a lot of nuts. And a bunch'a rich b------s show up and do that whole 'I'm better than you huff huff huff' thing. Hold on tight, kitty."
Without further warning, he pushed the cage over the edge, holding onto one bar with a single hand to prevent it from tipping over and impaling someone. -
Ginji hissed, clutching the bars, equal parts annoyed and upset.
-
The cage hit the ground shakily, nearly falling over. Fall considered letting it for a second, but it seemed like it would be bad if Ginji were to be killed before they could do anything with him, so..
He straightened it up, dragging it to the front of the crowd with the rock directly beside it.
"Make friends, Oreo." he instructed, turning his cage to face the trapped rock.
(I'm gonna do some stuff to make this less sad and confined for you soon I swear but I hope I don't annoy you) -
(You're not annoying me.xD But okay)
Ginji huffed, and leaned back against the cage, closing his eyes. -
(No, I mean I hope you don't get annoyed about what I do to make this more interesting for you. 3x)
Fall froze, glaring at Ginji for a second. He grabbed onto the cage, carefully placing his hands carefully around the swords, and shook it violently.
"Make friends with the rock, Oreo." -
(Oh, okay.)
Ginji growled low in his throat, glaring at the man.
"Bite me." -
"Don't tempt me." he said with a grin. He poked a finger into the cage and booped his nose again.
Behind him, street scum and misplaced aristocrats had already begun to file in, wandering around and mumbling appraisal for the merchandise being offered. -
Ginji again snapped at his finger, then proceeded to glare at anything and everything, like a irritable kitty.
