Fall glared at him for a moment, eyes flickering golden again. He jumped at the cage, sending it crashing onto it's side with the boy inside.
It landed with a satisfying crash and he stepped back with a gleeful smile to admire his work and await a response. -
Ginji snapped to attention, hissing. It was such a sudden action, though, that he fell with the cage, hitting his head on the bars.
He groaned, rubbing his head and sitting up slowly.
"The hell?" -
Fall smiled at him again.
"Let's play a game, Oreo." he repeated. -
"Whatever, sure, just quit being spazzy." He replied, crossing his arms and glaring.
-
"Spazzy?" he repeated with a smirk, cocking an eyebrow. "Interesting word choice."
He smiled at the ground briefly and looked up at Ginji. He was going to break his f---ing face if he didn't stop smiling.
"Let's play magician. I'm gonna stick swords in through the bars and you're gonna stay alive like a good assistant." -
Ginji stared at him in disbelief. Was this guy serious? He better damn not be. Ginji didn't want blood stains on his shirt.
-
Fall had climbed over and leapt off the edge of the cart already, run around asking everyone to lend him a sword, cursed a few who didn't quite trust him with sharp objects anymore. In the end, he had to settle for six swords. They really didn't have much time before they'd arrive at their checkpoint for anymore anyway.
He clambered back onto the cart with a huge amount of effort courtesy of six sharp ends all trying to impale him, leaving them on the ground when he had found his footing and kicking them closer to the cage.
"Round one!" he exclaimed excitedly, picking one up and glancing the cage over to see where was best to stick it. -
Ginji's eyes widened when he saw the guy was serious. He backed up against the cage, staring at the sword in shock.
"You're not going to seriously do this, are you?!" -
Fall clicked his tongue scoldingly.
"The question at this point really shouldn't be if I'm going to do it or not. I'd be a little more worried about dodging!"
With that, he jammed the first sword in, entering through some of the higher bars to the right and exiting the cage to the left. This way the sword would keep tight in it's position, hold, and stay put. -
Ginji crouched down lower in the cage, glaring at the guy and looking over toward the sword. Back and forth. He was nervous, obviously.
-
Fall paused for a moment, blinking down at Ginji. He got cuter when he tried to make himself small, when he shrunk down and when he looked nervous. He grinned, picking up another sword, and wondered briefly how panicked he could make the boy. He could get attached to someone that responded in such a delicious disarray of passiveness and aggression. (No, he would later insist, he did not mean passive aggressive. That was weak.)
This sword, he ran in through and through just an inch above where Ginji's head was now, setting it and stepping back again to watch. -
Ginji growled low in his throat, getting lower to the ground. He glared at Fall still, in a very catlike fashion.
-
Fall felt the smile widen until his face physically hurt.
"Ooooh, yes, growl some more." he cooed, picking up another sword and twirling it for a moment in a very expert fashion before his hand slipped and he dropped it with a look of dismay. He stared at it on the floor for a second before retrieving it. "I need to practice my twirling."
He stuck this sword in, once again, just a bit away from where Ginji's head was, and noted with a hint of regret that the boy would run out of space to duck down before he'd finished with all of the swords. This game would be short-lived at this rate, but it was okay. Seeing the boy squirm was doing a little more for him than it maybe should. -
Ginji was beginning to panic, but he tried not to let it show. He hissed, glancing up at the sword, and tried to sit up away from the sword, to give himself more room.
-
Fall picked up another sword, doing a more simple twirl with it and bouncing on his toes when he completed it successfully.
"See, I'm not always so bad at this." He paused, sighing contently before shrieking suddenly. "HEADS UP."
The sword drove in much closer than he meant for it to, a few mere centimeters from Ginji's face.
"Oopsie daisies." he breathed, grinning in spite of his near fatal shot.
