Here we are. Repost characters too, okie?
Name: Fall
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Race: Wolf Demon
Background: After he was traded off by his parents, Fall- who was originally named Jack; Ha! Lame!- ended up in the hands of a group of black market merchants. They couldn't see him because he intentionally made himself look sickly and weak every time anyone looked at him. Therefore they were forced to keep him, and he ended up working with them. His speed, strength, and heightened senses make him a valuable asset, and though the merchants would like to pretend they'd always loved and supported him, he remains inwardly bitter about his past, insecure and sad. He covers this up with huge displays of confidence and a healthy dose of sadism toward anything he captures. He likes to terrify and isolate anyone he can to make himself feel better about all the time he spent lonely and scared when he was young. Easily comes across as mean-spirited because of it. (looking back, I guess this kind of does make him mean-spirited .3.) -

Name: Ginji
Age: 20
Race: Cat Sith
Background: Since Heph is a fail at backgrounds, he doesn't remember much past his 13th birthday, when he was taken in by an older couple. The two cared for him like their own child, and he was given everything he needed in life. He eventually, at the age of 18, left them though, to explore the world on his own, as he wasn't completely comfortable in the world of humans.
well dammit
Ginji sat underneath a tree, eyes closed lazily. He listened to the sound of the leaves in the trees rustling, smiling to himself and imagining himself as a cat chasing those leafs.
He snapped out of it though, afraid he'd revert to his cat form. He'd already reverted to it twice before. He only had six more times. He stood up and stretched, yawning loudly. -
(I am such a failure)

I should have given this soap a clever title. Help me think of one, will you?
Fall wandered through the woods. The heavy crunch of stale underbrush was the only sound he could pick up, much to his dismay. He was supposed to be meeting up with the caravan at the entrance to the next city. He was supposed to have disposed of a few minorly inconveniencing things from their last rounds a few hundred feet into the woods and been at the gate before the rest of the group had a chance to. He liked beating them places.
That made it nearly impossible for him to admit that he was hopelessly lost. He looked over his shoulder and turned back with a weary sigh. For a wolf, he was surprisingly disconnected from nature. He'd almost thought he'd heard something move. -
I'll try. I'm not too good at that, though.xD
Ginji paused as he heard the crunch of leaves. His eyes searched the underbrush, and he stayed statue still.
He couldn't see anything around, so he relaxed, and began the trek back toward his camp.
As a cat, you'd think he'd be more observative. But raised by humans had dulled his animalistic instincts. -
Hold up, I name all of my soaps after songs I like. How's "The Bird and the Worm"?
He stopped again, turning once more to look over his shoulder. His eyes narrowed. No, there was definitely something over there. He turned and headed back in that direction again without paying any mind to where he was meant to be. His footfall was light, but it felt clumsy to him nonetheless. He couldn't see his feet through all of the brush shrouding them, and he nearly tripped quite a few times.
Eventually, however, he caught up to the source of the noise he had detected before. It was a young boy- maybe a few years younger than him... eighteen? Nineteen?- walking alone. Fall blinked, tilted his head, and took a step closer, trying to stay hidden behind a tree but also have a good view of the boy. What was he doing this deep in the woods by himself? Was he a hobo? Fall sniffed in his general direction. No, it occurred to him, the boy looked and smelled too clean. -
Ginji paused, hearing something again. He glanced around, and sniffed the air, closing his eyes.
"Ello? Who's out there?" He asked, opening his eyes and tilting his head curiously, looking toward the general direction of the other.
Sounds cool. -
Lovely. Then that's what we'll call it now. :3
Fall narrowed his eyes, shrinking back a bit. The shadow cast by the tree he hid himself behind brought him calm as his pupils dilated in reaction to it. He parted his lips and forced a feral growl, low and rumbling and a bit painful in his throat, hoping to convince the boy that he was accompanied by nothing more than a wild animal. -
Okie dokie.
Ginji stiffened again, azure eyes still searching the landscape. He quickly backed up, and then turned and began walking again, slowly and quietly, hoping whatever had made the noise would keep it's distance. -
He checked around his feet this time before he moved on. Something had struck him as odd, something he couldn't overlook, though he couldn't quite place it. He dashed out from behind the tree and hid himself behind another, crept through with as much care as he could if he wanted to gain any ground. All the while, he was careful not to lose sight of the boy.
-
Ginji continued walking, calming down as distance was made. He soon came to the path leading toward the village, and smiled to himself. Another forest traversed, another town to explore.
He started down the path, humming happily. -
Fall continued trailing the boy, interest gradually fading but something like stubborn persistence forcing him to keep at it. He glared out at him from behind a tree, bit his lip and frowned. He really needed to be getting back to the caravan. While he was confident they wouldn't leave without him, he didn't want to deal with the sneering faces if he held them up.
He breathed in heavily through his nose to catch the scent, but the wind was blowing toward the boy. This was frustrating as all hell. -
Ginji suddenly paused, picking up a smell. Wolf? He wondered, turning and looking around. He reached for sword. It didn't completely smell like wolf, though. It was eerily familiar, almost.
"Alright, whoever is there, I'm going to assume you were also the growl in the forest. Why don't you just show yourself?" He sighed. -
Fall shrunk back once again, this time remaining silent. He let himself fall down to his knees, downwind of the wind, and internally kicked himself for not recognizing his error in letting his scent drift toward the boy. He gritted his teeth and held his breath.
-
"Oh! Come on!" Ginji said, annoyed. He was curious as to who his mysterious follower was, and being the stubborn cat he was he was resolved not to leave till he found them.
"Come out come out~" He called.
