Miri got up and followed, blinking.

He led her downstairs to the kitchen and started figuring out what to make.

She watched, not knowing quite what else to do.

He decided to make quiche because he liked quiche. And it could be eaten for breakfast or dinner. It was a very versatile dish.

Heph barely knew what quiche was.
Miri kinda just switched between thinking and watching. -
Emily vowed to one day make quiche for Heph, since she is very good at it.
He looked over at her while preparing the dough for the crust. "So..." -
Yay~
Miri blinked, brought back from her thoughts "Yes?" -
And also pie.
"I want to know," he turned and looked at her, and pointed a single, flour-covered finger at her, "about you, Miss Mason." -
I love pie.
"About me?" She blinked. "What do you want to know?" -
Good.
"Anything. What you like to do, your favorite... whatevers." He shrugged. -
"Um...Well...I like books, and then there's riding. I have a horse...if you didn't notice. I brought her." She started, saying the first things that came to mind.

"Hmm," he was listening closely while preparing the meal.

"Um...I like the color green. My favorite flower is a rose." She said, then remembered that a rose is what got her in this situation and sighed.

"Mine too," he murmured. He then put the dish in and turned to her, giving her his full attention.

"I...Don't know what else to talk about." She said.
