"Ah, no, that's not what I meant." She smiled. "I'm just surprised you plan on helping."

"I'd get bored or distract you if you did it on your own." He smiled.

"Well, alright. Thanks." She nodded.

He nodded. "I think dinner's ready." He got up to grab some plates and silverware, and the quiche.

"Alright." She said, just then realizing that she was quite hungry.

He brought over the dish and then the plates. "I'm hungry."

"Then I guess we should eat." She giggled.

"Agreed." He sat back down and served her, and then himself.

She glanced at the food for a second, approvingly, then took a bite.
She smiled to herself. It was delicious. -
He grinned, noticing that she enjoyed the food.

"It's good." She said.

"I'm glad you like it," he said, then took another bite.

She continued eating, in silence as she had nothing quite to say.

The transformations happened at night, mainly. This one was earlier. He could feel the skin on his right forearm starting the transformation. He set down his fork. "I trust you'll take care of dishes, since I'm going to excuse myself now. Goodnight, Miss Mason." He stood and pushed his chair back in.

She blinked, looking up at him, surprised.
"Yes, alright. Goodnight.."
